My wife and I were really impressed by the service we received from East Coast Commercials at Robina. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, without ever feeling like you were under pressure or that they were just there to make a sale. We were on the market for a Volkswagen Caddy Maxi, upgrading mainly because we are going from 2 soon to be 3 kids, and needed the extra space. Matt and the team went over and above our expectations to make sure there were three anchor points for us, which included taking the car to a fitting station and a Volkswagen service centre... and that was BEFORE we'd even bought the car. We had another Volkswagen Caddy that we were looking at the same time, same year, model, similar km's etc and was a couple of grand cheaper, in the end we decided to go with ECC because we felt they were genuine, would be helpful down the track if we had any issues and the 3 year warranty they have was superior to the other dealer. This kind of service is rare these days and we love our new car. Well worth checking these guys out if you're looking for a new set of wheels.

Best car dealership I've found in the area. I went to dozens before finding the van I wanted in an acceptable condition at East Coast. Go talk to Dale for whatever you need, he'll look after you.

I picked up a bus that my boss had purchased from here. The owner Ron and his staff were extremely helpful. I highly recommend them.

Not sure if I should complain they won't get back to me or be thankful I dodged a lemon. Asking questions like service history I guess are too complex for a car yard to handle.

Bought this hilux about 4 months ago and have slowly noticed signs of the vehicle being from the mines. At the time of purchase I was told that they didn’t know what the vehicle has been used for. I was provided with a service log that seemed normal.A month later I realised that there was three fuses in the accessory fuse box but no accessory’s. Chassis and tray had a rough cover up paint job and have now while cleaning my windscreen noticed what I assume to be rock chips covered up with a paint brush. No sanding back the rust or preparation just some paint whacked over the top. Not to mention using the wrong Toyota white paint while doing it.If your going to cover up an ex mine vehicle at least put more then half an hour with a paint gun and a brush into it. Will never ever go back as it is common knowledge what utes go though in the mines.Vehicle has been detailed so at the time it wasn’t obvious but with a few washes and time in the sun all the terrible cover up attempts have come to light.

For the sake of balance I will share my experience with East Coast Commercials at RobinaThe day after my purchase I found the reversing camera didn't work and Aiden told me that because the reverse camera was an accessory it was my problem and that I could trace the wires myself to fix it because it would just be a connection (well no - the internal electronics were faulty). And if a reversing camera is used as a selling feature I would think it should at least work properly at the time of sale - or at least I think that's what the trade practices act would say. When I purchased the vehicle Ron told me because it had such low klms it didn't need a service. When I rang about the reversing camera I asked Aiden about the spanner indicator on the dash and he told me the vehicle should have been serviced before sale and no vehicle leaves the yard without being serviced" - so how could 2 people working at the same dealership say different things?I also complained about the super loud handbrake alarm which was loud enough to make people turn and look when I was parking at shopping centres (the vehicle obviously had come from the mines). I refused to agree with Aiden when he tried to tell me the "heavy machinery volume" alarm was a good safety feature.Whoever detailed the vehicle that I purchased removed the seats presumably to clean all the coal dust out
