Port Lincoln Mechanical

I was having trouble with abs/esc warning light staying on. I rang PLM to see if they could fit me in. They said bring it in after 2pm which I did. Russell the owner and master/expert mechanical technician put the scan tool over it and diagnosed a possible faulty rear left wheel speed sensor.He asked if I could bring it in first thing in the morning to check out the harware on the hoist which I did. It was really busy there. Faulty wheel speed sensor was confirmed with ohm metre. New part in stock at VW which he immediately sent someone to pickup. Installed instantly, cleared codes and tested. Problem fixed. Others before had tried, failed and charged like a wounded bull. Russell charged me 1 hr labour for all that.PLM prices were $70/hr cheaper than the VW Dealership. Really great value for the exceptional mechanical professionalism. I can't recommend Port Lincoln Mechanical highly enough. Most clean and organised workshop I've ever seen. Even Loren the secretary was wonderful to deal with. 10 out of 10 for this business.

These guys were a lifesaver when I was driving back from fishery bay and my car overheated. After driving over from WA en route to Victoria solo had the potential for a lot to go wrong but everything was super smooth. Thank you for sorting everything out really quick and easy. We recently travelled from East Coast of NSW to Coffin Bay. Noticed a problem with our car. Called Port Lincoln Mechanical. They went out of their way to fit us in with short notice. Then dropped us off for a beautiful breakfast and shouted a coffee. On top of that gave us tourist advice. Great people and could not help us enough
