I have two fish and chip shops within walking distance from home but would rather drive the 4 km to Kensington every time for the BEST fish ‘n’ chips in the inner west. This place is ‘old school’ to a T !!! It smells like a fish ‘n’ chip shop used to smell like in the 70’s. It even has “Couta” on the menu. The batter on fish is crispy thin and not oily or greasy. Chips are thick cut; crunchy on the outside; and fluffy on the inside. Feels like family every time I come to this iconic chippy!!!

Always consistent delivery on the menu from this fish shop. Freshly cooked, right amount of salt, never any complaints from me. I always enjoy the potato cake on the house too!!
