Room fridge was turned on by owner just before we entered room.....it didn't work. Milk went off, ham off etc. Toilet made a screaming sound when we used it & when next door used theirs(all night) Needs maintenance & new bed.. Tiles came off bathroom floor, shelf in shower fell. However clean.

Very outdated accommodation for the price. Smoke alarm was removed, bedding had stains, towels had bleach stains. Toilet made a whiney noise when ever used even if someone else uses their toilet in their unit. Reception complained about us using booking.com

Do not give your credit card details to this motel, they will steal money from you and not return it. Could not stay on 3rd August because of no power and they took payment 6 days later and will not return it.H D Faux

When my friend and I went to check in at the motel the man at the reception who looked like the motel owner said there was no reservation under my name and they are fully booked. I tried to show him my confirmation email with the confirmation ID and he rudely refused to see it.He wasn’t happy that I had made the reservation through booking.com and not directly. He accused me that I have used booking.com because I wanted the ‘cheaper option’. At this point I told him I wouldn’t have even found his motel if not for booking.com and why he would enlist on booking.com if he didn’t want people to make reservations through it. He had no answers to any of my questions.He spent a lot of time asking and reasking my name and then showed me a glimpse of an email without maximizing the screen trying to prove my reservation has not been approved. I had to argue him to see the whole email. I took a photo of the email and have attached herewith. The email has my name but a different confirmation ID in a different color. The email text clearly says I’m welcomed at the motel. There’s a red banner at the top that says no room could be assigned. I never received such an email and it has not been sent from booking.com but their own system. I believe he made up that email or changed the original to fool me.He was going on about how they don’t give a room for only one night and also that because of Christmas they are understaffed and it’s a hassle. In the end he said he does have a vacant room although earlier he said they don’t have any. It was very clear that he was trying to scam me into paying more since it was Christmas day and all motels were full. I was not prepared to pay more so we didn’t stay there.I would not recommend this place to anyone. Doesn’t deserve any stars at all.

comfy room great beds the staff very understanding and helpful.

Paid $150 per night.Honestly was worth $75-$85per night maximum during peak school holiday time.This place urgently needs an upgrade. Disgusting old carpet, furniture, linen, crockery.2 paper thin towels presented for 3 people booked and payed for.No soap/basic hotel toiletries.Outside presentation - the bricks need high pressure cleaning, furniture upgraded,and as for the little BBQ. Disgusting.Quality of a rundown hostel.We felt grotty staying here.I'd have rathered a tent!Location is good.Augusta is a beautiful un- commercialized town.

Great location and OK for short stay, but it is very basic, the room we stayed in is tired and needs quite a lot of maintenance doing.Very noisy when there are inconsiderate families staying in the next rooms.

I do not normally do this; however, this was the strangest accommodation. When we went to check in, the gentleman was quite rude and basically gave me a lecture about how I used an online booking system over ringing the motel directly to book. He stated that normally they are fully booked and I wouldn't have gotten a room in that case. I booked nearly 3 weeks ahead of time. He also talked about how using the online booking system was cheaper etc etc. He also talked about me 'having to pay again' as the money hadn't gone through - even though there was a confirmation of payment from my side.The room was very basic, yet dirty. There were stains on the carpet, mold and a broken wall in the cupboard. Power-points that didn't work, and the heater barely worked. The walls were very thin, and you could hear people sneeze and cough through the night. You could hear people going to use the toilet, as well as the shower. We accidently left our key in our room, and the gentleman accidently unlocked a different room.Upon checking-out, it was a very awkward experience. It felt like he wanted me to pay again, and just to give the key back, it took about 10 minutes to check over something just for the gentleman to say 'the money still hasn't arrived'.The accommodation was sufficient for the reason that we were in Augusta; however, upgrades, cleanliness, and nice communication needs to be majorly improved.

Arrive and nobody was there, waited for couple of minutes finally see a bossy slow old man in reception, and had no idea how to find a reservation by names.Room is in bad conditiin, many things older than my age and was not powered on for a long time, such as fridge heater and TV, need to learn how to make them working by switching buttons on the wall and inside the fridge...No hot water!!! Went to see the old man and was asked to wait for 5 mins, then nothing happened so I had to ask again and said need to wait for 10 mins now. Also I was asked to listen to him all the time rudely, I only tried to ask what was wrong and if we can change another room because my daughter was so cold in the bath room after waiting for hot water for a long time already. There were plenty vacancy that day but he said you will NOT get another room.Finally the hot water tank was switched on, the gas was lit on then it started to heat....we have to wait for another hour to have hot water to shower at 9pm. I suspect they just turn everything off when the room was vacant, and just don't turn them on before the new guest arrived.Sleeping time, there were hairs on the beds and sheets, long and short...I am too tired to complaint and don't want to be rudely asked to be quiet again......

Arriving at 7.30pm the Welcome was not great and they were unaware of my booking via a rewards booking site. There was no soap in the shower (COVID) but not mentioned in room info. Also the cold water tap in the shower did not work and with too hot water & some dishwasher liquid I managed. Pfff The PowerPoint by the bed did not work for the electric blanket as the bed was very cold.I usually don’t have any issues, but when I politely reported this to the manager he compared me with other guests!!!
