Such a wonderful day out, plenty of space for an afternoon picnic. Good provision of facilities. Generous offerings to try produce which is such high quality. If you're riding, take a spare pannier!

Lovely ambience, family fun festival with wonderful food stalls (crepes, pulled rolls, dutch donuts, donuts, potato sticks, spring rolls,) jewellery, knits, music, pony rides and of course the roasted chestnuts !

Wandiligong Nut Festival
We went the Sunday of ANZAC weekend and found Bright was too busy to stop and find a place to have a picnic lunch so we went to a park in Wandiligong, 5 kilometres away. We found this lovely park where us 4 couples stopped by a stream and injoyed a very pleasant lunch in a wonderful atmosphere on a lovely sunny day

If you love nuts, don't miss place. Walnuts, chestnuts, hazelnut s.. great little market held once a year @ Autumn festival.Update, they were back this year and lots of people attended. So good.
