NICEST vet and staff!!!rodent friendly and knowledgeable. vet (forget name unfortunately) was lovely to speak with and listened to what I had noticed about my rats recent health and previous experience with others.Reception staff lovely and called the next day after she had started antibiotics (3 doses at time of call) to see how she was responding. Overall, straight up fantastic staff, and beautiful, clean facility. already told my 2 (local) friends with rats if need help to go here. 11/10

We had to take our little dog to the vet for a paralysis tick. The care was beyond exceptional from the moment I rung to tell them we were coming in to the end of our car. The vet and nurses team are just absolutely caring amazing people. We as a family can’t thank enough for what they did to try and save our little girl. 100% recommend wide bay vet surgery. Thankyou again team

Had taken my beautiful fur baby for quite a few visits tests done all very expensive. Got told it's probably her arthritis we can do more tests yeah right took her to another vet last week within 5 mins she was x rayed & diagnosed with bone cancer. I had to put her down last Friday. The other vet fees were no where near as expensive

Asked for a quote as we were concerned we couldn’t afford the treatment, were told to send photos, she needed stitches above her eye… once photos sent, were told we need a consult, spent $350 call out fee at 1pm on a Saturday (it has closed an hour earlier and the staff were still there) and we had to go to them??? I feel this is excessive… Then were told he can’t look at it, because she wasn’t submissive enough, quoted $2700! Just for the stitches, requiring surgery!Then said if it was during the week it would be $1800..Unfortunately we couldn’t afford this, soo he charged the $350 plus antibiotics and we were sent on our way. No alternative options, have been quoted $800 with Brisbane pet surgery, we will be making the trip.Honestly.. wasted $350 with something he could’ve told us through photos! I think this is disgusting, preying on animal owners in Hervey Bay this way, we were honest from the start that money was an issue as our British bulldog requires ACL surgery on Monday and all he could say was, he has no idea how they are making any money? As they had quoted so low.. I feel that’s just realistic prices..

We recently moved to Hervey Bay and needed to find a local vet sooner than expected, and the Wide Bay Veterinary Clinic were able to see us within an hour or so. The care and compassion shown by all the vets, vet nurses and admin staff has been exceptional.

The Vet was very rude, made my partner cry and our dog was petrified shaking. My partner took our 10 month old collie to see the vet about her back legs as our normal vet was fully booked.The vet wanted to do blood test and all these other tests, this was not needed (without asking us and telling us a price) he just went ahead, when he did the blood test he missed (blood went over my partner) shouted at my partner saying “I told you to hold her down” kicked my partner out of the room while he called a nurse in and then she heard our dog cry and yelp! My partner went back in the room and our dog jumped on her shaking, cowering away from him and would not let go.Test came back “nothing wrong”He also gave our dog injections we did not ask for (nausea injection) she didn’t even need it!He did not listen to anything we said!Then gave us a bill for $632.56 and nothing was done about her legs that’s what she went in for!!He then said “I need her back in for an ultrasound and X-ray tomorrow” .No thank you !We are over $600 out of pocket and still know nothing about our dog legs!

Wow, what a caring team of people. Starts when you walk through the door. Used a number of vets over the years They all do a great job but I couldn't be happier here. Our little furry friends are worth it..

Great friendly and helpful staff and Vets. Lost our cat in January. He was nearly 18. Everyone was so caring and compassionate. Even got a sympathy card which had been personally signed by all the staff a week later. Now they are looking after our new puppy. Couldn't recommend them more highly.
