Kedron Brook Off Lead Dog Park

This is a great place to bring your dog. Bring a towel for the car as your precious will inevitably jump into the brook, but we'll worth it to see the smile on your dog's face!

Love this dog park.... so much room for my Border Collies to run and make friends.They also love the opportunity to cool off in the creek.Highly recommended.

It's looking a little worse for wear after the February 2022 floods, but the lack of infrastructure on the off-leash side of the creek means there was less to get ripped up.The bushes along the creek have largely washed away which gives more visibility down to the water.The reasons you go there are to give your furry mate the opportunity to run around, socialise and have a splash, and all of that still happens. Free bags are provided to clean up after they've done their business and there are lots of bins and drinking taps (with dog bowls) along the way. It's a great spot.

Warning: Dangerous Vicious Dog with Irresponsible OwnerMonday 12th September about 11.30 at Kedron Brook off leash area on Lutwyche in the water.2 x white bull arab dogs with black dots, one smaller female and a bigger male. The male bull Arab attacked a young female golden retriever. We heard that this dog had attacked another dog before. The woman with the dogs was in her 60’s and could not control the male dog at all. The male latched onto the pups neck and wouldn’t let go. It took 2 adults (not the woman) to release the pup.If you see this woman take photos (as she will not give her phone number) and make her leave. She claimed that they were not her dogs. Do not let your dog near this dog as he is extremely dangerous.

Needs more bins for poop, but otherwise a really good off lead walk for your dog, with many friendly dogs to meet along the way.

It was lovely until I discovered on my way back to my car that Dogs are not actually allowed to swim in the Kedron Brook according to the public signage as you enter it..I drove 40km to visit for the dog to swim; as advised by my sibling..I guess the rules only apply to some remains in this area; because everyone's dog was swimming.

This is cool little hidden gem for dogs!! Fenced in area so you can take the dogs off leash and they can chase each other up the hills and into the beach. Love it!
