The sheer size, to hold such a large capacity of water is spectacular, The spillway overflowing to the casades below, Public tables and pinic table, Information plaques etc. Be careful of children, They seem to be wanting to walk in front and at the back of cars. When we went there were a fair few people that have travelled to see the spillover and casades as this hasn't happened in the last 26 years. The formation of the casades reminds me of an old mine. Fantastic to have seen

Dartmouth Dam Wall
My dad used to come here regularly from Melbourne with his boat to fish, always raves about the incredible views and decided we had to see it for ourselves, it did not disappoint! While the weather was cold windy it did not take from the miraculous beauty and monstrous size of the dam and dam wall. Can’t wait to come back during the warmer months!

Dartmouth Dam Wall
This was a very nice visit. When I was there the dam was extremely close to overflowing, and it is predicted to do so in the next few weeks. When it does, the water will flow down a series of cascades and will look spectacular, so I'd highly recommend visiting soon if you can. You can see how full the dam is from some of the photos I've attached.

Absolutely stunning!! Definitely worth a visit, and fascinating reading the plaques there about the construction of the dam wall.

Some serious wow factor at the moment!Toilets at the top of the dam wall.Can drive all the way to the top and not have to walk. There is a viewing point on the way up for the cascading spillway which has stairs.

Really worth taking a drive to the Dartmouth Dam Wall. We went though when it was overflowing and was amazing not only to see but yo hear the roar of the water. A wonderful spectacle to see.

If you haven’t been to check out the overflow, get there now. Photos don’t do it justice of how amazing it was. So much bigger in person. I have also been to the dam wall before the spill and it was still a magnificent place to see.

Dartmouth Dam Wall
Really beautiful at the moment! The overflow is like a waterfall and the dam is so full! Great place to bring family for a picnic and walk.
