very disappointed in hair cut. asked for short on top and longer fringe- got short fringe and long on top. cutter/dresser was to busy fussing over a child from another client to listen to what i was saying. then at checkout she charged a ridiculous amount for a simple trim- and then told pension discounts are not current, yet person after me got discount!!!!!!!!!’ wont be back and wont be taking my family there.

I attended Gayes Brassall for a permanent hair colour. I decided I would spend the extra money to get my hair coloured professionally in the hope it would last longer than the DIY hair colour from a pharmacy/ supermarket. Unfortunately for me it was a waste of money. Just on 4weeks into having the colour done and it has faded so much. I went back to the salon to let them know and for them to see the colour change. The ladies agreed that it definitely had faded alot and they were not to sure what had happened. The solution was that they would be able to correct it but at an extra cost of around $80 because it was past the 2 weeks touch up time. Extremely disappointed with the outcome and hair colour.

Had a great experience at Gayes Hair Salon today. Judith style cut my hair exactly how I wanted(longer pixie cut), walked out feeling a million dollars. Thank you Judith and Gayes. Glyn Lewis

Had my hair cut by a lovely and friendly stylist today. I'm terrible with names sorry. She did a very nice cut and was very accommodating, especially considering I was asking for quite a big change. It will take me a while to get used to a fringe again, but I think she did a tremendous job. I think I was in shock at the end of it, but starting to feel more confident already in my new look! Thanks again.

Went to Winston glades gayes salon. One star is too much for this place for staff & experience. First time i needed to have hairline retouched was after a few days as greys weren't covered properly after paying over $154 i needed to go back, very inconvenient and made excuses and i do use their products. The second time 6 weeks later after paying $137 for color of greys only on hairline small amount of regrowth not even all over color i needed to go back 6 days later as greys showing from temple & hairline. The manager stated to me oh your back again" i asked for my money back & was told no. So i went back to get hair fixed to the manager being rude & the colourist ignoring me. I was told i asked for a lighter color & other excuses were given to make it my fault. I was treated appallingly by both as when you pay they are all over you coffee

Never going back to this place again. It was patche and uneven. Wasted 217 dollars to hair a I never ask for and 4 and half hours. The first photo is what the girl have done. I had to go to other salon to fix it and the two last photo is the result of the other salon that fix it and what I wanted. I'll never recommend anyone to go to this place. Unless you want to waste your money. Lesson learn.

It has taken me years to find a great hairdresser and then i met Jess from Gaye's salon in Brassall. She is a perfectionist and cuts/colours my hair to perfection everytime. Great customer service and pricing. Highly reccomend!! A++++

Great place to visit. Jess is my hairdresser & she is very welcoming, has great cutting & colour skills & a fabulous sense of humour. The girls all make you feel relaxed by their attention to your needs. All the coffee,tea & water you would like to drink. Fabulous head massage followed by nice hot towel almost puts you to sleep! Jess always ensures I leave very happy with my 'do!It is always very clean & they have very high hygiene standards. It is within the Shopping Complex which has toilet facilities. Great covered free parking is available.
