First lookout a bit under whelming but keep driving all the way through and you get a couple of great views. You will come across a massive creek bed with amazing rock walls and a very very old worn out truck. Not bad but not so many great views of the White mountains

This is one of the wild unexplored beauties of Northern Queensland. Only experienced travelers should venture into this park. Starting in April you can see its majesty from the air with Fox Helicopters. Amazing.

Camped one night at Canns camp creek during the Easter holidays. There was a slight drizzle but the road to the campground was completely safe on an all wheel drive. There was a dried out creek to be crossed just before entering the camp ground. There was one toilet but no water or showers. Our campsite had a fire pit and there were some left over firers burning from a controlled fire a few days before we got there. Peaceful campsite.

Typical mid Queensland bush park with limited campsites (8 total) only two 4x4 accessible destinations. Sawpit George lookout and Poison Valley. The latter is a 21Km drive from Canns camp ground. No potable water, Telstra mobile reception at lookout, park toilets are as always disgusting.

Stopped at the park overview to the south. Good for break. Lots of graffiti in soft rock. Dirt road access to park entry.
