Desert Sands Motel

Beautiful staff only to willing to help in any way she could. Lovely place to stay.

I've recently stayed at the desert sands motel in Boulia and the entire experience was traumatic. When we checked in the owner was quite rude. This only further continued when we went to log onto the wifi. It wouldn't work, and was patchy standing in random places outside. We had specifically booked this accommodation for the wifi as we knew we wouldn't have data. This was frustrating as we have no reception and needed to contact people. We went to reception to explain our situation as we paid for wifi and it was not working. We were verbally abused by the owner. He continued to yell at my friend and I as we continued to say please do not yell at us. As we walked away he yelled How could I fix wifi

Given that Boulia is an extremely isolated location, the condition of the motel and the rooms and the grounds was at a very high standard.When I was booking this room I though, hmm

A wonderful motel in an outback location where you will find the best hospitality from excellent hosts. You may even be lucky enough to be greeted with a smile from one of the family pets. A lovely experience. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely motel on the main street, rooms are clean and well maintained.Great hot showers and comfy beds.Short walk to all shops and pub.Enjoyed our stay after 2 weeks in the desert in a camper.Many thanks.Stefan

John is a friendly welcoming host. Rooms are large and well presented. Located on main street just a minute walk to the pub and general store. Great place to rest travelling through this area.

My partner n co workers staying there.. need more bowls to make like jelly etc... . Clean.. tidy.. air con's need to be upgraded. Bloody hot here n con's not doing the best in this heat. For a self contained 3 bedroom unit . Sleeping 3 .. I believe 180 a nite

Fabulous spacious and ultra clean rooms, lovely owners always seeing if you need anything further. Provide great advice on regional attractions. Highly recommended.
