A truly wonderful experience. Lyn and Carl are extremely warm, welcoming, and knowledgable people. The horseback riding tour gave my partner and I the chance to learn how to ride horses while still being active and fun. The land is gorgeous and our campsite was very well kept with great facilities. I cannot recommend this spot enough if you are looking for a down to earth getaway - a real piece of paradise. Thank you Myella team!

I'm copying Ian's comments as they are spot on. The activities are great for kids - feeding lambs, calves, kangaroos and horses and collecting eggs.Carl's safety introduction and horse training gave independence given to all of us to get from A to B, whilst looking over the property for cattle, gave a lovely feeling of freedom - rather than being lead horse nose to horse tail in a line along a single track as with other horse-riding tourist activities. To muster" the cattle back into the yard (with a little help from Shadow

We recently stayed at Myella with our two grand-daughters (6 & 9).We chose the 3 day package including 3 meals a day. It proved to be a magical experience for us us. The girls were busy from dawn till well after dark with the care and feeding of the animals, farm duties and organised activitities. Lyn, Carl and Olive were on-hand all day with their wealth of knowledge around farming and were enthusiastic to allow us an insight to their farming life". They have created a wonderland for children and their patience with us "townies" makes for a good atmosphere. Good fun

The activities are great for kids - feeding lambs, calves, kangaroos and horses and collecting eggs. The horse riding was great for adults too, as was grooming and feeding the horses.Carl's safety introduction and horse training for our 6yo twins was clear and impressive (and Mum and Dad were reminded for a few things too!) and we were very confident in the girls' actions, despite this only being their third time on a horse. The independence given to all of us to get from A to B, whilst looking over the property for cattle, gave a lovely feeling of freedom - rather than being lead horse nose to horse tail in a line along a single track as with other horse-riding tourist activities. We even got to muster" the cattle back into the yard (with a little help from Shadow

I had such an amazing time. I stayed there for 2 nights 3 days on my own and I enjoyed it so much. Actually I can say that a dream came true and I'm so thankful for that. I loved the horse riding, I took care of a new calf Kleiner"

Warmhearted lovely family, I loved my stay here when travelling up north from Sydney. Whether you like horseriding, excellent food or just friendliness, you’ll find it here. Even close encounters with kangaroos! I was lucky to meet Yuke, a baby kangaroo, the family takes care of.I am very grateful for having found the place, and for the days spent there. Most beautiful sunset walks are also part of the experience. Just don’t miss it, it is highly recommended!

We enjoyed every part of our stay. Booked three days and stayed four. There are enough activities to keep you as busy as you are motivated to be. The hosts are real country folk that get involved with their visitors, we found meal times to be very social, with a glass of Peter's home brew and some lovely home cooked country meals by Olive & Lyn. Our kids are 12 & 14 years so we all could ride the motorbikes and the horses together as a family, we found the horse riding to be the best we have ever done, Lyn will get you to do fun activities and games as you ride, Shane will point out some interesting things like wild bees and wild boars. Lyn is a lot of fun and very encouraging, Shane is a fountain of knowledge about the bush and farming. Peter & Olive are lovely. Worth the drive and we will be back.

My wife & 2 children (aged 2 & 4) stayed at Myella for 2 nights in November 2013. We found all of the staff friendly & welcoming & they took an instant liking to our kids (even though they were loud kids!).We were limited to what the children could participate in due to age but that did not stop Shane from showing them the horses & letting them help him feed them.Shane took them to milk the cows & always made sure they were safe & he explained to them everything he was doing.Lyn was a great host & our daughter made a new friend, with her.Olive & Peter were very kind & Peter helped the kids bottle feed the baby kangaroos (this was a highlight for them). I (dad) was nervous about the 2 year old breaking something at one stage but Peter calmly reminded me to just 'let him be'.Harry took them down to see the chickens & was answering numerous questions from the 4 year old. They liked Harry a lot.We had a great time overall. Mum & dad got to relax some & the kids are still looking for kangaroos & cows! The meals were great, the accommodation was great & we were treated very well. We would recommend Myella to anyone wanting to experience a Farm-stay or just to get away & relax. You can do your own thing or have things organised for you.We will definitely return.
