Very negative: I was invited to undress and wait for a therapist. I was waiting practically naked in a cold room for 20 min. Then she was going to answer the phone many times. The quality of massage was very poor: she was jumping on my kidneys with her knees and punching them with her fists. The feeling was that she did not know what she was doing. I was a frequent client of True Thai massage in Melnourne. They are really the best. But here I payied more money and it was the worst massage I ever had in my life. May be this particular woman done it first time. I am not keen to try others in this place. I worry anout my kidneys... ;-)

Have had 2 massages there each time, a feel of she really didn’t want to be there and was rushed into getting undressed & she kept answering the phone - ended up being 6 times! Really not worth the money paid. There is another one up the road (near the barber shop) which takes more care and treats you like royalty when you arrive)

This is a little Gem in the Northern area of Wollongong, to the south of Sydney;While the shop-front is somewhat unpretentious and inconspicuous, I was more than pleasantly surprised with the staff's attention to details (a warm foot wash and slippers upon entry), beautifully appointed massage and treatment room, a relaxing and quiet atmosphere and a very comfortable massage table upon which I laid (at no time did I feel like my face was hurting from laying face down, which I have experienced at other venues).Kathy tended to my sore shoulders with ample massaging skill and amazing technique for stretching and relieving tired and sore muscles. This was far more than I had expected of the pint sized masseuse, however she informed me that this was traditional Thai, and as such incorporated techniques which I would have associated with the highest level of sport therapy, as well as massage.Having trained in Swedish Massage myself, and often being critical of other masseuses / masseurs; I can honestly say that this was one of those exceptionally positive experiences which I will not forget any time soon.After a One and a Half hour remedial massage, I felt totally reinvigorated and almost free of all stiffness in my shoulders and lower back. A second visit a week later had me feeling 100%.Looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing traditional Thai massage with Susie. She asked which areas to concentrate on, listened, and worked her magic so that I felt brand new again. Very much appreciated, thank you Susie ☺️

Epic massage! If you like a super hard, traditional Thai massage, ask for Kim. She was amazing. I was only there on holidays, but will tell all my friends and definitely go back when I am back down the coast.

I've had regular remedial massages from Woonona Thai Massage & Day Spa since April 2018 and found staff professional, friendly and very effective.
