Id like to think that when paying fees to an association Id get reasonable service advice instead of rudeness and sarcasm? When asking for information on continuing education I was given a written response which didn't give me all of the answers required. Then I received a phone call where I was treated like Id asked an offensive question. At no time was I rude or angry etc. The whole situation was totally uncalled for and disrespectful. I thought my association was there to support me and to make a genuine effort to help me when required? This doesnt happen with MMA.

I second what other people have said, if I clients didn’t have private health I would not be involved. For the fees you pay you get very little service and if you miss a deadline for something like cpe you aren’t informed and then aren’t covered anymore. Not worth the money in my opinion, you already make so little as a massage therapist especially in the past 12 months and then you’re expected to keep up to date with the fees, so courses and pay for first aid and if you can’t there goes your private health clients.

The only reason to be associated in any way shape or form with this organisation is to be registered for Health funds.Even then they scrap you off the list for so much as missing a deadline for updating CPE or CPR or what not without any clear communication.

Have been with them from 2010. Never have any issues. They provide regular CPE events so keeping up with CPE requirement is very easy if you plan ahead. I always learn something from their meetings and seminars.Website is very easy to use. Everything is there. Update your clinics details, your first aid training, CPE events attendance. Well done!

Very little support with close to zero marketing awareness to the general public. Lousy at advocating a campaign for therapists to be considered amongst the ranks of other allied health practitioners. Rather offensive to be charging fees for what they're offering or represent

IMHO there needs to be significant improvements in the customer service experience for members/subscribers to this association. We (including AAMT and other associations) are striving to prove the professionalism of our industry in the wider health care environment and this professionalism needs to start from the top down.

Always friendly and helpful. Have been with the association for about 5 years. The website could use some improvement but the staff are always there to help out.
