I recently had the pleasure of visiting Coles Amaroo to do my grocery shopping, and I must say that my experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.One of the things that stood out to me about Coles Amaroo was the exceptional cleanliness and organization of the store. The staff are always polite and helpful

Do not order delivery groceries from this Coles. I ordered for delivery the next day with a 6 hour delivery window (1 to 7 pm) and they delayed delivery until 11 pm. Disgraceful.

Good service as the Coles brand represents.Have a wide range of products. Prices of products are fair. Good location and adequate parking at basement and roadside.Hard to find Halal meat and poultry items, otherwise, the service and the staffs are very good.

Needs more small wheeled basket trolleys. But other then that it has the essentials. Still needs more wheel baskets!! The layout has changed and the self check out area looks newer. Needs more wheeled baskets...

If you want a quiet, peaceful shopping experience, then early on a Saturday or Sunday morning definitely is best. Staff is usually friendly and helpful too.

Wide aisles, helpful staff, quick through checkout, plenty of variety of stock

Empty shelves for fresh food most of the times. But today's rating is for the carelessness on the store's part. There was a spill on the floor and they did keep the wet sign but on one side of it, completely ignoring people coming from the other side. I had a slip and while I'm still on the floor this employee kept arranging the shelf instead of offering me hand or apologising. Luckily I did not suffer any injury. When I told him, he kept doing what he was doing, I waited watching and cautioning other passing by. Just to realise he had the mop next to him but he thought it is more important to arrange the shelf rather than cleaning the floor.I would not blame that employee I think this store overall is poorly managed. Need to hold the store manager to account. This incident happened around 9:30pm on 13.02.23 you can check the store cameras.

When I moved to the area, I naturally went shopping at the closest shop: Coles. After a year of shopping there I had enough - rotten fruit and veggies, expired milk, unavailable stock, yuckie sliced meat at the deli and refusing to cut meat freshly, charging me for the most expensive apples and tomatoes instead of the cheaper ones which were at the checkout, and above all, constantly charging multiple times for the same item. For example, when I used to buy cat food there, instead of charging me for 24 cans, they'd charge for 32, 36, even 48 cans! Despite numerous complaints, nothing changed. All I got was lip from the second in charge while the manager was never available - hiding. No call back - nothing. That's called apathy. One year ago I wrote to the Coles Board in Melbourne but never got a reply. After customer service promised to call back, no one did. Did I say apathy?Over the past three and a half years, the store has had three managers and as many deputies. Not that I really care because I travel the extra mile to go to ALDI and Woolworths. They've never overcharged me. In fact, Woolworths recently undercharged me but I was honest enough to make them aware of it.But the other day, when waiting for the hairdresser, I thought I'd quickly buy a few items from Coles. And as expected, instead of charging me for 2 bottles of Coke, I was charged for 3! The new second in charge was a smart-arse. After specifically asking to speak to the store manager, the 2IC mumbled something about not being smart because I didn't want to talk to him as he walked away.
