Great service, nice atmosphere, and a great range of beers… would definitely recommend coming here for a few drinks and chill.. the food however was very disappointing, especially for the prices charged. $17 nachoes without protein served in a very small bowl. Seafood marinara ($28, not pictured) with 3 squid rings, and a couple of prawns and mussels.. no fresh herbs or anything)Long story short, come for the beers!!

We stopped by after a round of golf and our group had some great food. We had the nachos (awesome!), the rib/wing platter(awesome!), eggplant parmigiana (awesome!), and the Caesar salad. Added in a sampling of several of the beers as well. Definitely a place we’d highly recommend to anyone!

Cool venue! Also located in the centre of the main strip in Darwin. Staff weren't very helpful & the food looked better than it tasted unfortunately but still worth a visit - beers were great!

We had a good night here, food was pretty good (just took a while to come out). Nice atmosphere and a good selection of tap beers and drinks.

Context - I travel to Darwin frequently, Six Tanks is (was) my go to for a Monday night feed as I enjoy trying their in house brewed range and having a bit of fun with the musical bingo. Usually the Scotch Fillet and Surf & Turf option is a no brainer. This experience:I walk in and wait patiently whilst the staff behind the bar finish talking to someone they knew. I was then overlooked by another patron and waited to be second served (it’s ok). I went to order a house beer, none available. I ordered a Scotch Fillet Surf and Turf - Medium for $49, it was the most well done, toughest, grizzliest and thinnest piece of steak I have ever eaten.Essentially, the one star on this occasion is for the Musical Bingo Lad who never fails to entertain.

Probably the worst food I’ve had on Mitchell street just over priced bland food. And the sad thing is every time we come it gets worse and worse what used to be a half decent place had hit rock bottom. Explains why we were the only ones in here during lunch.

Ordered Tuesday's schnitty meal and what I saw was absolutely embarrassing. The schnitty was literally the size of my fist. I had ordered this before and although not large was ok with chips and salad for $10. However, this was just embarrassing. It was 2 bites of schnitty. I was in shock and said Is this it?" They replied with chips and salad it was $10 and good value. I looked at one of the cooks and said would you pay for this? I could see from his face even he was embarrassed

The beer that is brewed there was decent, however do not order the ceasars salad" was like it came from a supermarket pre made bag

We're in Darwin CBD here on a cruise ship with a quick stop in Darwin, we're a long way from home in Melbourne!Got a recommendation from a local to check out Six Tanks Brew Pub as we love a brewery, the atmosphere is simply amazing, the decor is on point and they play decent music inside the bar area. They have 26 beers available on tap, with one through six being their own beer brewed in house.Unfortunately out of 26 beers on tap, there was no dark beer options, and the two Victorian beers on tap are mainstream stuff from CUB, it would be nice for the two Victorian options to be from our prominent craft/microbreweries rather than the foreign owned corporate monster that's CUB.The food was great, however by the time we got our food most of it was cold as the timing was a bit off how they prepared our share plates, but it's no big deal, this would be a five star venue with just a few small changes on how they serve their meals and a bit more variety in the beers - a couple dark beer options would be great and get rid of CUB for the Victorian representation in exchange for some of our fantastic microbrewery options we have down south.Certainly worth a visit if you find yourself in Darwin CBD, great venue.

I really couldn't fault it. I had a grilled chicken burger for lunch and went back later for the chicken wings special on Thursday. Great range of beers and the $7 Pint of the week is hard to beat.
