An&Mei hair Salon

Just had the color service from AN&MEI. Love the tone of my foils and base color. I can tell they are very experienced and they must use the high end products, because I was a very experienced hairdresser too when I was in Singapore :) wonderful service, reasonable price, will come back:)

I got a hair cut today and was very happy about the services: on time, polite, professional, reasonable price and understanding the needs of customers. The male gave me a lovely short hair cut and the female fixed my blowdry style at the end.However, there came a lady who had a job interview at the salon today. The owner should not give her a try on my hair. She splashed the water over my face and didnot dry my ears and face after washing my hair. Her blowdry did not make me happy as well.All in all, I still grade 5 stars for this salon cos the great job they have done and highly recommend this place for everyone.

Not only the best hairdresser in Kogarah, but the best in Sydney! I have paid hundreds of dollars in City salons, but I travel from Potts Point to get the best hair cut at An and Mei. Yao and George are warm and welcoming-a really friendly atmosphere. They make you feel really special. They are top, professional hairdressers-great colourists, cutters and amazing blow drys. You won't be get a better service-the best value in Sydney.

No wonder people are frustrated with their communication. I called the salon for inquiry I asked questions and I understand that they are busy but it's not a good reason to hung up on me while I am still talking.. And the guy I talked to wasn't sounds really friendly and said he's the boss. It was so rude so I didn't bother to visit the salon.

My first time in An and Mei hair salon and they have a customer for lifetime!!! Highly professional and polite. I have chemically straightened my hair a dozen times at various salons, nothing comes close to An and Mei salon. They are the best. Prices are very reasonable too.

I have had nothing but great service from this hair salon. I have been to many other salons and they all charged me over $180 for a cut, wash and blow dry. However I can get it here for $45.00. BEST PRICE IN THE SOUTH OF SYDNEY. You all do a great job on my hair guys. Thank you for a terrific professional job. Love my hair now. Thank you so much.

Not happy, after 4h spent there and $200, got a complete different result that what I asked. I went from brune to horrible orange/yellow, instead of the ash blond I've asked. They told me after 4h of foils and color, that I can't obtain the blond I wanted on the photo, because it will take few sessions. They did offer to fix it for free and come back, but I don't trust them anymore, my thin hair has suffered enough. Next time I will go to a better hairdresser. I think this place is good for cheap hair cut, not for color.

I have been an An&Mei’s customer for more than 15 years. I’m so lucky to have them save my hairstyle. Their service, the hairstyle and colouring they make for me are always satisfying. Also, the business owners are a warm and lovely couple. You are the best!

Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and UNDERSTAFFED is all I can say! First of all booked an appointment 3 days in advance. Upon reaching on time, I was asked to wait...waited for 40 mins. Even after that the hairdresser attended to another person who came after me. When I questioned her on why was my service being delayed though I booked an appointment well in advance and was there on time, I was bluntly given a response stating ‘we do not account for exact time’. I said if I have to wait longer I’m leaving upon which she said you have to wait some more. I left the salon.Why book an appointment if you do not have the capacity? Who waits for 40 mins and additional time after booking an appointment? I wouldn’t have minded 10-15 mins wait but 40 mins!To be honest they don’t even deserve one star!
