Lovely farm stay accommodation, will definitely stay again. The resident Kangaroos and ducks add a magical feel to the Chalets. Would recommend Petra to friends and family.

Enjoyed an wonderful short stay at Petra with our dog. Great accommodation beautifully presented with relaxing surrounds and an abundance of dog friendly beaches , wineries and cafes within easy reach. We can't wait to go back again , and neither can the dog.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is just beautiful inside and out and though you feel a million miles away, it is conveniently close to the beach, shops, wineries etc that the region has to offer. Highly recommend this property as a great place to stay with or without your pooch.

Arrived on a weekend around lunchtime. Sign said open til 4pm, but it was all closed up. It said call the number, so we did. The lady who answered had a moan about how long she has worked today and needed a rest and they had staffing issues. So went to Eagle Bay Olives. Nice place and actually open. Bought delicious Olive Oil from there instead.

A visit to Petra Olive Oil is a must when we take a trip down south. So as usual we pull into the driveway only to find signs saying the store is closed at the moment. However the people pruning the olive trees motion us down the driveway to the store which was opened especially for us. The lady that served us was very helpful and I hope we made opening worthwhile. The box of goodies purchased, included lime infused olive oil, balsamic, olives, jams, and olive tapenade, should keep us going until the next trip.

We patronised the shop on Anzac Day as it was highly recommended by one of the wine cellars & we were delighted they were open. However the only counter staff was not so welcoming. Anyway we bought a few items & enjoyed the ambience of the nearby olive groves which was populated with wild kangaroos.Decided to return the next day to purchase some hair products but was put off by the same counter staff. Needed to use the washroom after a long journey from Augusta but was told there were none on the premises which we found disappointing. No offer to help or provide any solutions. Service sucked so we didn’t buy anything further.

We had an incredible weekend at Petra! So grateful we could bring our dog and relax on the beautiful property! The chalets are extremely clean and comfortable, we bought so many goodies from the olive shop and went for some lovely walks around the property. Would of loved a standing fan to sleep with rather than ceiling or floor fan but I’m not complaining! We will definitely be back very soon.

Amazing spot, close to lots of places but surrounded by nature. Beautiful views out of the chalet to watch roos and birds. The chalet was very comfortable and modern, plus the farm shop is great. Thanks for the great stay.

Our stay at Petra Olive Oil Estate was lovely! The accommodation was really nice, with a beautiful view overlooking the estate and such a warm cosy feeling, it felt like home! Thank you for a wonderful stay and would highly reccommend this place.

Thanks Melina for a lovely stay! Location is central to everything and the Queen chalet we stayed in was perfect for the two of us, our 3.5 month old baby and dog. The property is open and so beautiful and our dog was able to roam around off lead. We didn’t even see the family who stayed next to us so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. I’m already looking to book our next trip back!
