Cash Converters Gouger Street

Out of all the places I got recommend cash converters was the last choice.After getting no offers around Adelaide from most of the jewelry places I decided to go to cash converters.I wasn't expecting a high amount for my Rado watch as I got told from jewelers in the CBD of around $150 - $300 is what I should be expecting.Not only was the staff at cash converters welcoming but there was plenty to smile about as I got an offer of $700. Triple what I was expecting and an offer I couldn't refuse.Extremely happy with the outcome and the banter was great to.I'm as happy as Larry with the outcome and would 100% recommend cash converters in the CBD.They didn't ask me to do a review but I'm to happy with the outcome to not say anything.

Absurdly rude staff over enquiring about a pair of shoes, discrimination against tattoos and questions apparently!Encourage everyone to go elsewhere

very cheap and reliable for buying, not even close for selling. I had a nintendo dsi with 5 games all in perfect condition and got offered $10 for the console and $1 dollar each for the games. Say What??? on the buying side though very reliable and there are phones for $15!!!! lots of items and tech would recommend for buying

I emailed them regarding what it is worth. Was told that I would get $50 for my Burberry jacket and $50 for my Burberry bag. They said they would authenticate both items. Both items had serial numbers for authentication purposes. I drove half and hour to get there and they said they would not take them as they could not authenticate them. I would never buy fake designer items. I got them from David Jones 10 years. I am really unimpressed with their lack of knowledge. Maybe they should have tried harder to authenticate the items and then they would have found that they were real.

Wasted an hour of my day traveling to this store to make a purchase, only to find a printed sign in the window advising they would be closed 12:30 to 1:30. I arrived 12:27, doors were locked and they would not let me in. You'd better ring ahead if you want to buy anything from this store.

Worst manager ever. Rude and un professional. No compassion for even their regular customers. All you see is them judging and badmouthing their own customers. Over heard them bagging out a customer who obviously going on hard times. So out of respect for that so called feral" i decided to drop my purchases on the counter and walked out. Just to make a point. And made sure they knew why i was leaving. Only feral thing about this store is the staff. Discusting. Will NEVER return."

There is 1 FAT lady there who is usually in jewelry who refuse to help you carry things you bought 10 metres to your car. She will instruct other staff not to help also. There is an asian lady there who has zero customer service skills.

Worst customer service ever. Whether you are buying or selling you'll never get a good deal. The staff at the purchase office was super rude, they offered me $160 for my phone, I declined the offer and sold the same phone 2 days later at CEX for $300!

Helpful staff. Quick Service. Heads up, if you plan to sell a phone, you will need bill of purchase. First time sellers will need a valid ID and utility bill showing your address.
