Our ducted air conditioning system stopped working during the night. We rang John from Climate Control asking for an appointment as soon as possible as the temperature is above 30 degrees and our elderly fur baby would not have coped. John said the next appointment available was a couple of days away. We are blown away with his honesty and helpfulness, he patiently spent time on the phone troubleshooting with my husband and gave instructions according to error message on the control panel. He explained about the weather and the affect it can have on the unit. We turned it back on after 30 mins and voila, it's back up and running again. We have a 14 year old Fujitsu on beach balcony (sea air) which will really needs replacing but due to bugetary reasons (lol) we want to put off replacement until a later point in time. It has had two separate issues (not related) due to age and corrosion etc.The first time i rang around pretty well every a/c company in Gold Coast, getting ball park costs (part of my job is doing this so i know how to do well). Climate Control A/C came in first place so i used them to repair first issue.First time:Great over the phone diagnosis (flashing codes etc) and pre-purchase of needed part from office, convenient prompt booking slot allocated, excellent communication with technician on the day regarding arrival time, on time, polite and very very focused on getting the repair done correctly and quickly (he didn't waste one second), accurately fixed the issue, and then we were pleasantly surprised that the invoice was considerably lower than we were expecting.Many months later a different part went in our old a/c (100% unrelated to first issue) and this time i didn't bother searching who is cheapest). I called climate control and it was fixed again promptly at a cost that we consider very pleasing.Second time:Great over the phone diagnosis (flashing codes etc) and pre-purchase of needed part from office, convenient prompt booking slot allocated, excellent communication with technician on the day regarding arrival time, on time, very polite and very very focused on getting the repair done correctly and quickly (he didn't waste one second) costing us less, accurately fixed the issue, and then we were pleasantly surprised that the invoice was notably lower than we were expecting.Are you seeing the pattern here. That kind of great service quality is no co-incidence. Seems like the whole company is as switched as you could ask for. The team at Climate Control were brilliant!From the start to the finish of repairing my air conditioning unit, they were extremely professional and helpful throughout. They liaised with the insurance company initially, with all of their requirements, as the job was covered under my fusion policy. This ensured that I received payment directly from my insurer, prior to the work even commencing.The technician was very professional and friendly, and when the repair wasn’t straight forward – as often happens in situations like this, he was like a ‘dog with a bone’ in eventually getting to the bottom of it! He definitely went above and beyond the call of duty.All in all, a great experience. I definitely recommend Climate Control to anyone in need of air conditioning requirements.

Climate control was recommended to us by Fujitsu when our new aircon did not work.After multiple call outs and being told the unit was “working” we continued to have issues, almost a year later and we finally had a technician who was able to diagnose the issue of a slow leaking pipe that none of the other 3 technicians seemed to be able to detect or fix, we had even sent away for a band new air conditioner in the meantime meaning that we had to suffer through an entire summer with no cooling due to the incompetence of the previous climate control technicians being unable to diagnose a simple fault.After the job was finally completed in March- the technician left all the pipes and wires exposed promising to send someone to replace the capping in the next few days. I messaged John the manager directly a month later as I was concerned about my childrens safety, as they play in close proximity to the exposed wires and I could see the wires were getting sun damaged and exposed to weather. He promised to follow up. Still another month passed. I called the office to complain and the secretary promised to follow up… Still another month passed. It is now almost September and I’m still waiting on a technician to safely finish the job that was logged as incomplete in March.I have had endless issues and negative experiences dealing with this company. The technicians do not seem qualified to carry out the work and do not follow up on their promises.I will be contacting Fujitsu to complain directly that this company is not to be trusted.
