I had a garage door opener installed 6 months ago it came with two remotes, both of the remotes stopped working, I opened them up and went to change the batteries, both of them very badly corroded inside also the screws on the outside.The super lift supplier told me they had never seen this before and accused us of putting both sets the rough the wash at the same time.The remotes are of a very poor quality with no seals at all in them.They way we were spoken to accusing us of wetting them and the way they spoke to us as customers was shocking. We got told if we want new remotes call consumer protection.Don’t buy this product unless you want to spend more money down the track buying new ones.We’ve had remotes in the past that lasted years and years.I’m glad now you’ve admitted that the remotes wouldn’t have worked from day 1 that’s good for your customers to read.So you’re also saying they may have been second hand.I was accused of acting suspicious about the situation because I was disgruntled about being told there was nothing they could do about it not even offering any compensation or remotes at a wholesale price, I think any customer would have been disgruntled after the remotes only lasting 5 months and being accused of both sets of car keys and remotes being out through the wash.This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue like this generally they would last for years.I think these remotes are cheap and of poor quality. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy them.If the remote had been submerged in water both sides would have been covered in rust it was only the one side.Just another dodgy company to stay clear of.When I approached the installer he said that the supplier of super lift didn’t want to get into contact with me nor discuss it, he wouldn’t give me his details, I googled there number myself. That really says a lot about a company.

Quality and friendly service there product and prices are second none I would recommend anyone who is thinking about installing a roller door to to use the Superlift garage door system great product easy to use and quiet.

this review is for the **remote **. I would not say I am not happy with my garage door opener. It was already in place in the house i bought, but came with these big ugly plastic remotes. plastic broke so i could not attach them to a key ring anymore, and two parts of the remote could not be screwed together anymore. When I called SuperLift to purchase a replacement one , was told that only the superlift remote would work, and that they was only this model (nothing nicer / smaller nor stronger) and that s be around $100 per remote...I was advised differently elsewere and end up very happy with a nicer, stronger, and smaller replacement remote i got for $10 - which does not make me feel to happy with the Superlift remotes nor their sales guy though ;)

Had a new motor fitted and four weeks later door would not open although the problem was nothing to do with the motor Buddy went out of his way to try and solve the problem what great service, I have no hesitation in recomending this company and Buddy, great service and the door is good too.
