Good spot to relax after a big day on the snow. Only problem is the council has made it illegal to park there overnight, so if u drove 6 hours there's nowhere to have a rest. Shame... Guess the dislike the very thing that brings them money...

I never had have canoeing in my life but I got chance there and I really enjoyed it, lake surface was smooth. Please book the canoeing prior to visit that lake.

Beautiful place. We visited in winter to ski at nearby Perisher Ski Resort and Threadbo Ski Resort. Very handy with lots of holiday rentals. Looks like it would be great in summer as well with boating and fishing. Visit to the Wild Brumby Schnapps Distillery for a tasting is a must!

It's not a natural lake which you can feel. But there's swimming and some decent scenery.
