BK's Gymnastics Hoppers Crossing

Unfortunately feel compelled to write this review. BK were extremely attentive when we signed up our 2.5yr old. They were so keen in fact they started our weekly direct debits a week earlier than agreed! Elly ran the class for a few weeks who was excellent. Unfortunately, despite constant calling and leaving a number of vmails and emails over 6 weeks, BK never resolved their intial billing error. We never even received a return phone call. We also had activities given in classes that were far too difficult for our kids and no alternative provided. The catalyst to cancelling our daughters membership was after a class where her teacher disappeared without a word, and never returned. After discussing a number of other unrelated issues other parents have had with BK we decided to move on. Really disappointed.

Excellent place to send your kids for gymnastics training. Classes are group based accordance to age and skill level. Instructors guide the kids in achieving their skills with precision before moving forward to different movement, to prevent injury when transitioning to another skill. However as gymnastics is a lifestyle, practice is required at home. Watch the classes and follow the progressions, or break it down barney style working with basic levrages. Classes begin with warm-ups that are both static and dynamic. All equipments are available mushroom, pommel horse, balance beams, uneven bars, trampoline, large air track, ropes and various crash mats. Located at the grange primary school, reasonable prices. They have school holiday programs. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I love how my child is looking forward to her class every week, and when I can attend I understood why. The teachers are very kind and caring about the kids, even for ones who need special care. And the activities are done in a structured manner, which introduces terms and moves in a pace that is great for kids to learn.

Canceling in the second class. Unprofessional school. There was no orientation or no introduction to any coaches. Kids are allocated in the different groups by age. No fundamental skills teaching, kids were asked to do jumps and copy each other. Facility not hygiene wise either. Not recommended at all.

Gym/equipment is dirty and stinks, my daughter ended up with a skin condition on her feet (now gone and hasnt come back since leaving) Too many teachers not qualified to be teaching, kids landing and falling without being properly supervised. A few of the teachers are great but a few prefer to send the kids running around for 30 mins out of the 45 min lesson so they can sit and talk and look at their phones. Kids not in classes are running all over the floor and between classes. Updates and awards ln app never used. We tried to change classes to hope for a better experience but it was the same. Would not recommend going here.

My daughter has lessons here weekly and also held her birthday party here and the staff were absolutely incredible with us parents and the children. Highly recommend them for both lessons and party's.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I had to this time round and I’ll tell you why. BK don’t do trial classes so you’re forced to initially sign up, instead, they do a ‘30-day money back guarantee’. I signed my daughter up but she only went one time and I called the week after to say she was no longer going to attend and that I wish to get my money back as ‘guaranteed’. 3 weeks later, I am still getting charged membership fees and yet to receive a reply about my cancellation. I am however, getting emails from them saying “You’ve been here for 4 weeks now, write us a review!” … so here I am! Hopefully this review will get them to finally answer my calls and refund me my money.

There is a lack of clear instruction. My boy was asked to sit in front of a named bin denoting which class he belongs to. Was given the impression the teacher will get him when his class starts. Next week, he is sitting at the bin and nobody picks him up. Then a teacher walks up to him and asks why he hasn't joined the fitness session.There is no reception for enquiries. So parents ask questions from teachers interrupting class sessions (possibly a Sunday issue)The teachers are good. Perhaps a few tweeks to make things clear for people, especially new ones would make this better.Also the phone number is more symbolic than functional. Never answered. I am ok with that as e-mails eventually get replies

Horrible experience. Unfriendly. First and only class with my 2 year old. Unhelpful and uncaring. Then when you try and cancel your membership you can’t get in contact with anyone. Thought it would be a good class for my energetic toddler but the environment is way too distracting and the class is way too structured for 2 year olds that don’t know what sitting still means. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent Centre. Fully qualified Teachers who make Gymnastics Fun. The children love going every week . Would highly recommend. New Equipment , Small Class sizes. Great Centre !
