Vella's Panel Works

I was impressed with the excellent customer service, and speedy turn around with my accident claim repair. Adam at the front reception was amazing; kepting me up to date thur out the whole process . I would highly recommend Vella panels, my experience was positive.

Website said 24 hour turn around time so went there for a quote. 13 days later and I still have not received that quote. I rang reception after the first week who was lovely and told me the quote had been half completed and she put a note in the file to finish it.I understand that during this pandemic businesses are struggling, but when you go to another repairman and they do the quote within 12 hours, and this place still hasn’t gotten back to me, it’s not a good look. 2 stars only for the lovely receptionist.

My wife's car met with an accident last December 2022. Claim was with AAMI and these guys are the authorised repairer in the area. Brought the car on 15th of December for the assessment by appointment. In January, when we checked the progress on AAMI app, it was showing that we didn't go to the appointment. Called AAMI and got to know these guys have never uploaded the photos. They couldn't find any photo (don't know whether they were lying at that time as well). Then made an appointment again on 23 rd Jan. Went to place on time. Took photos. Uploaded according to the app. Now app shows that claim process is in stage 3 of 4. (Don't know what it is) Made a phone call to these guys again. Call was answered by Adam. He told that there is nothing about our claim after giving and confirming the claim number. Repeated same. We were asked to contact AAMI. After spending 1 hour on the phone to contact AAMI, they contacted the same person from Vela panel works. Adam has told AAMI representative that claim is still in progress. So why he couldn't mention that to us? He repeatedly said that there is no claim with the claim number we provided. This is not regarding delay in repair. This is regarding conduct of Vella Panel Works. If we had option of changing the repairer, never going to them back. Yet to see how repair work is going to be.

Poor follow up customer service, can't see how businesses can afford to operate so poorly in a region like the Latrobe valley where things are so gloomy, don't they realise in this day and age of social media that poor service can damage how they are perceived in the local region, a real piss poor effort guys, pick up your game! Would highly recommend Deans Panels and Morwell smash repairs

What can I say brilliant service had my Ranger back before Christmas even when my insurance company says estimated completion by February 2023 10/10 thanks a lot

These guys were great! They did a great job and were finished when they said they would be even in the middle of lockdown. They were also accommodating and cleaned the car :) Highly recommend.
