I was a bit weary with this place as I looked at a few reviews online. Decided to give it a go for dinner as I was stopping in town for the night. Lady behind the counter was really nice.Honey chicken, special fried rice and prawn crackers.The food was pretty good, generous serving that was more than enough for me and my partner.

Stopped in Horsham on drive from Adelaide to Melbourne. Kids wanted KFC. But hubby & I stumbled across this little gem just off the Hwy. on a Monday night, food was hot fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly! Big 5 stars from us!!!

Have eaten from many Chinese restaurants around this country and this store by far had the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten.Ordered the garlic crispy chicken..... Absolutely disgusting, special fried rice was mediocre, and for the price this was woeful. Will make sure I tell whoever goes to Horsham to never go to Tasty Express.

This place has had a few names and a few menu changes throughout the years and decades but Chinese food has usually been part of the menu. Trips to Nhill to see relatives more often than not involved a stop at this location before the final push. Like previous experiences and up to now, the food has been fairly decent. Fried rice is what you'd expect at any half decent Chinese takeout and the deep fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce and their curry chicken dishes were also good. By no means is this place challenging Melbourne's best Chinese restaurants, but it does a good enough job to get the job done. Friendly helpful staff, and I'd probably give 3.5 stara if it was an option.

Pretty expensive. $20 for chow mein and $21 for sweet and sour pork and they wouldnt even let me order a half serve.Smashed the chow mein as it was pretty small and even finished the sweet and sour pork.It did fill me up but no leftovers. I'm not chonky or anything of a big eater.Food itself wasn't to bad. Lady was nice. Inside was also nice.If they were priced around the $14 mark it would be 5 stars. I think a bit greedy and blaming it on the cost of living these days but compared to other price hikes it's a bit absurd.3 stars overall.

Worst meal I have ever had.Chicken garlic butter was the dish. My Dad had the same.Fried rice was average. Home made so called Dim sim was rubbish. Couldnt eat the main meal. No flavor. No taste. I did manage to give feedback to the so called chef and gave him my honest opion of the worst meal ever.This so called chef should hang his head in shame and should be sacked. Rating 1/10. Please stay away.
