Dubbo Library

Awesome new renovations have made the place full of fun little hiding nooks to read in, a great range of books, some of the newest CD's in a range of genres, as well as DVD. They have a host of activities for the young kids and adults as well. Plenty of computers and tech to use, and a great place to study.

Great library! New books that I can borrow anytime, airconditioned and clean space, friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stop and feed the bookworms in the family. Kids loved boojs while I popped on the computer to do a few quick bits. The staff are all very helpful. Thanks ladies.

I have been meaning to write this for a while now but life and kids got in the way. My family regularly visit the library this includes my elderly mother who lives on her own and can get easily confused, she loves the library and I try to take every 2-3 weeks the staff are always great. I wanted to gives my utmost thanks to Aimee who is always so helpful and patient with the kids and mum. About 2 weeks ago when I took mother in I was trying to wrangle the kids and I saw Aimee obviously leaving for the day she had her bag and said goodbye to everyone just as she was walking out the door my mother stopped her to ask about an author, I finished with the kids I went to borrow I was surprised to see nearly 10min later Aimee still talking to my mother, mum was telling her all about her roses. I gathered up everyone to leave and apologised for holding her up and she should have sent her to the front. Aimee said it was obvious that my mother just wanted to talk and the ladies at the desk were busy and she was happy to wait with her till I was done. On the way home my mother couldn't stop talking about what a sweet young woman Aimee was. It really made her day and I greatly appreciate it.

This is the most wonderful library ever! Great books , fantastically helpful staff. Aimee is the best, most helpful, patient librarian! Helped semi computer illiterate me with lengthy & arduous tasks & showed extraordinary patience. Pleasant & wonderful atmosphere always. Thank you!

Im a student and I had to scan my certificates and put in my usb. I got charged $1.50 to use the scanner for 15 min. I do understand charge to.make copies but $1.50 to use the scanner only is ridiculous and i had to clean it because it was so dirty.

Excellent staff very good reception and assistance

I started coming here from last week because i was new to dubbo and didn't have a permanent accommodation.The staff in the library are a bunch of gems, they will try to help you as best as one can.I still haven't found a good accommodation but in the process i have fallen in love with reading even more.I love this place !!
