Okami Japanese Restaurant
Had a fabulous time at Okami! The menu was impressive and had heaps more choice than I thought. We had a wide range of dishes and all were tasty - especially some of their vegetarian dishes. Service was friendly and fast, we left very full!

Was very excited to check this place out and eat as much as possible. There is a reasonable amount of things to try and it's a reasonable price as long as you come with a very empty stomach. Staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive.

First time last night, blown away!Fantastic! All you can eat, decent quality, plenty to choose from! Quick service, very attentive wait staff! Great value for money. Delicious food! Will definitely be back.

Okami Japanese Restaurant
Had a great dinner at Okami Newton. We are regulars at a few different Okami's in Melbourne and this is as good as any of those. Really loved the beef carpaccio, chicken karaage, sushi and sashimi platter and the prawn gyoza. Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. While it was obvious that they were running short of wait staff, those on the floor did a great job servicing our table and we were more than happy with the service we received. Thanks for a great dinner with family.

We love Okami. Tried 3 different locations and the food was always amazing . The staff are very nice and friendly . Tried a different All you can eat Japanese restaurant today and it is not even close to Okami s food . Okami is our favourite . Sometimes the service can be little slow and the staff might forget a dish but it is totally understandable , it gets very busy and they are really working hard . Maybe you could do something so customers can order online from their table , it would make everything much faster for everyone, staff and customers.The only thing that I really hate and it made me wanna try other places is that I cannot order the type of sushi that I want . I only eat salmon sushi but I am forced to order the mixed plate and I really don’t eat anything else other than sushi . It would be so much better if you could choose the type of sushi that you want .

Worst ever Japanese food I’ve ever had. Incredibly unauthentic and not very tasty. (See very sad sushi rolls in the photo) Aside from the food, the dining experience wasn’t so great either. There were not enough waiters, received a sake cup that leaked, and being seated close to the door meant we were very annoyed by the horrible clunking sound the door made each time it opened. Only gave them two stars because the waiters were really nice.

It's a great place to satisfy your Japanese cravings. All you can eat, just sit back, relax, order and enjoy your food. Every sitting is two hours and you can order anything in the menu at any time during the session. Food os also good, not the best out there but definitely worth every single dollar.

Good restaurant with a limited menu but very tasty food with friendly staff. Easy parking is a bonus.Unluckily, it was very busy when we visited so took a little longer to get some of our food but everything was nice and fresh.My favourite was the miso steak and spicy squid!
