Commercial motel

Very basic motel, you get what you pay for so no complaints.Small rooms, clean bathroomDog friendly so winning for us.Just stopped for the one night, was perfect for what we needed.

Was a great stay and friendly staff, Rooms are comfortable.The only negative thing(and it's not even really a negative) was that the doors stick a bit, and there is no after-hours scanner at the front door, so you have to go around back which isn't locked.

Unable to summarise the highlights as there were noneAnother trick question about the room we never stayed in because they don't answer their phone.I called before booking to ask about late check ins I also put notes on our booking.We travelled 8 hours to get to Hay half way through that 8 hours I messaged them to say I don't have late check in information anywhere. No reply. We arrive at the property and they are closed so I called, no answer.We have a critically ill child who has a pump attached to him which needed charging We had planned our whole trip around his needs because the hotel was to busy to check the phone or answer a call" we had to go to hospital to look after our son.I tried to touch base the whole evening and next day and was met with a "should have checked your phone you registered and wouldn't have been a problem" there was no message that came through to our phone.There was NO message through bookableNO message through emailNO reply to any text or calls and it literally left us stranded I am so disappointed in this hotel and would NOT reccommend"

There was no hot water, no explanation and no apology.When I mentioned it to the receptionist she said So I've heard".Another guest said she was told "You should have turned the top the other way".Not good enough."

Lovely experienceHad a nice stay. The place has a historical sense which makes it special.Complimentary Breakfast options were toast and coffee/tea/juice which one can prepare themselves. Not complaining given the cost.The rooms were small but renovated.Parking became a problem by night as the property was full due to holiday season.There was no surface apart from one bedside table to place belongings like keys , bottle which is not a deal breaker for a night stay but inconvenient.Staying here should be considered as an experience instead of hotel stay.

Oldy worldy pub that is being converted to accommodation. Nothing flash, and right on main road but had quite a nice vibe.Bathroom was tiny and didn't function well unfortunately. But a nice friendly lady on reception :)

Worst place we've ever stated at. Not given details re entry to rooms after front door locked. Out in the dark and cold outside with no key to hotel's front door for half an hour. We phoned after hours number - no answer.In room - bathroom floor extremely slippery. No place to fill hot water jug. Heaps of other complaints.Just phoned and manager hang up on us.

Perfect location stop off on our way to South Australia.rooms were great and we had our dog.. and breakfast included.lovely lady at reception

Comfy bed, great communication as arrived later than anticipated.Easy to follow instructions.My wife is a light sleeper so everytime a truck went past it woke her up. The road noise I admit was quite noisy.The vent in the bathroom needs a serious clean. High ceiling but not good when dust fluff falls down on you in the shower...

Didn't end up staying. Does not depict internet pics. Old, dirty, stained carpet, unclean sheets and Doona. No mattress protector. Extremely small. Window's didnt shut properly or lock. Have to go upstairs, not good for people who have immobility issues. Thankfully got.a refund and stayed 200mtr down the road in a motel room that was $4 more for the night, twice as big and how a budget hotel room should be. Pls note, have stayed and travelled in loads of motel rooms over the years. This motel was by far the worst we have been to. Need to lift their game if you want better reviews!
