We ordered the grilled Red emporer.Was $15-50 for 1 piece which I don't mind paying if it's nice. I think OT was over cooked cause it was dry and hard to chew..The crumbed prawns were the best I've ever tasted and the potato scallops were nice..Should ofordered the prawns instead of the fish.. but lovely people

Loved the fish, fresh and nice tasting, however 2 things stopped me from rating you a 5. You overcooked it. The batter and crumb was dark brown. Also you need to drain the fish longer as it was really greasy.

I’m pretty salty about my first encounter with Saltys.Order took 70 minutes when we were told 20.Fish was dry and did not come with any salt or lemon, despite asking for it. You’d really think lemon and salt would be standard.Batter was also too thick. Had to dig deep to discover the fish and prawns.On a brighter note, the staff were very friendly.

Just had a lovely lunch at Saltys, it was my first time since the change of owners and I am very happy to report that the food didn't just look great but tasted even better. The chips and the crumbed cod were cooked perfectly. And the staff was friendly and attentive. The lady which served me noticed right away that the previous customer had left a bit of a mess and right away cleaned up. And for less the $13 the fish and chips and drink were a well prized package. So I warmly recommend Saltys to any fish and chips lover.
