Sawyers bay shacks Flinders Island was a dream destination, from the perfect private shack equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable, the breathtaking views from the mountains meeting with the sea, cosy double sided fireplace to enjoy inside and out ,private beach to explore, picture perfect!! Sharing this view with the wallabies, wombats and beautiful birds. It is a must to visit here, it is a well kept secret, a most magnetic place, cant wait to book our next totally relaxing getaway..

Stunningly beautiful, relaxing, private place to come back to after a day of exploring the glories of Flinders Island!Location is unbeatable - short drive to Whitemark for shopping whilst giving sense of isolation and peace. Centrally located on the island so that all destinations are easily reachable. Extremely comfortable facilities with very well equipped kitchen; glorious view from living area and both indoor and outdoor dining areas.Perfect private beach, with wonderful walks in either direction.Can't recommend highly enough, and can't wait to return!!!

The shack was beautifully presented, cosy and warm. The wombats and wallabies roaming the property were a highlight, and the scenery was breathtaking. We loved every minute!

We stayed in the small shack as a couple and thoroughly enjoyed our time on Flinders Island. The property sits quietly on the landscape and allows you toconnect with the natural beauty through the large glass doors.The shack is comfortable with all our needs being met.The closeness to Whitemark and the airport a definite advantage.

Such a wonderful stay here - couldn't recommend it highly enough!The Sawyers Bay shacks are situated on a large incredible private property, in a truly superb waterfront setting. You are surrounded by nature, have free access to an amazing coastline and get treated to sunset views and wildlife visits nightly. The open glass feel to the living spaces, and large surrounding decks complete with deckchairs and bean bags give you a wonderful amount of space to relax in and enjoy.The fireplace works wonderfully and adds a lot of atmosphere and was well set up and ready to go. I can't wait to get back! The kitchen is also extremely well set up for in house cooking which we made the most of on a few occasions.The location is only 10 mins from the island centre and well situated to explore all the myriad of charms and amazing locations the island has to offer.I'm already looking forward to coming back!

This is a beautiful beautiful spot with seclusion and privacy on a stunning section of the Flinder’s island coastline. The two shacks are located close together with privacy, incredible views and a short walk to the coast. The shacks are very well setup and the perfect spot to enjoy the company of family and close friends in a place that provides a wonderful chance to connect with the natural world.

Sawyers Bay Shacks is the perfect place to relax, read, walk, fish and bird watch. The fire is a wonderful addition to this property as are the decks, the BBQ and the close proximity to the beach where sea eagles circle and bird life is plentiful. This property is superb and suits a family getaway, a writing retreat or a holiday where folk unpack, unplug and enjoy.

Brilliant accommodation. Everything you need is right there. Beautiful beaches littered with shells is a stones throw away.
