We came at final call on a Monday evening. We ordered a delicious risotto that was a bit too oily and chicken parmi. We tried to order a kid's version of the parmi since Adeline wasn't too hungry but it was only reserved for 12 year olds and younger. She also didn't bring her ID so she couldn't order the wine. James Boag on the tap was a classic as always.J

I have eaten at the legana tavern for many years but last night I was annoyed and extremely disappointed, I ordered steak with pepper sauce, nothing wrong with the steak nor sides but the pepper sauce!! Someone forgot to soak their peppercorns, surely a qualified chef would not have done this, the sauce was not edible, the peppercorns were hard as a rock, that hard, someone could have done damage to their teeth!! When I order sauce it's to compliment my meal, it's a big part of the meal where as flavour is concerned, I very rarely complain but did let the very nice waitress know and asked her to tell the cook, and I do say cook because a chef wouldn't have served up sauce like that, it was described as creamy peppercorn sauce, more like gravy with peppercorns thrown in at the last minute, although I have eaten here for alot of years after last night's dinner, I won't be returning, I left annoyed and angry.

Just had the most amazing lunch with my son Andrew. His Birthday treat. Surf and Turf, cheesy garlic bread, a couple of beers and finished with a port. Service was excellent and very friendly.

Asked for a normal garlic bread sent out a cheesy one. Then the staff member tried to say they only do cheesy garlic for lunch menu. I picked up the lunch menu and said that's says garlic. Then I asked for a burger with bbq sauce thats a joke. Oh the garlic bread came out when the main meal.was eatenI won't go back out there any time soon

Arrived late into the Legana area Air Bnb on a Tuesday night so not much was open to grab a meal from . To the Tavern it was and the daily specials were extensive from lamb shanks to pumpkin soup. We went traditional with Fish and Chips and Chicken Parmigiana. The portions are large and tasty. Staff was pleasant and efficient.

Nice atmosphere, comfortable, great Kiev with beautiful veggies and the service is genuinely friendly. I also noticed that staff seemed particularly knowledgeable about the menu. Good job everyone!
