If you own a hardware shop, you should have staff that have a small clue about hardware. The lady in the front, sent me to the trade counter, because I'd asked for a specific item, by name. Out the back, at the trade counter, I asked, for some flashing, by name. Blank looks. Nah, sorry. Walk back through shop, and here it is, as asked for, by name, on the shelf. Not good enough.

Friendly staff great service and they have everything you need and want

The staff members are always helpful and cheerful. The range is large, from outdoor furniture to real tradies' stuff, and prices sometimes beat city Bunnings. Good on you Dippers!

Wasn't going to write anything bad but my experience really upset me and because of that I wouldn't go back to this shop again. My family has been supporting this local shop for years now. I went in trying to pay our account but my card got declined, so I told them my husband will come in and pay instead. Just when I was walking out the front door both staffs laughed at me. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated.

I've been trying to get Dippers to replace my gas cylinder for over a month and have made 3 separate requests. The most recent this Friday morning. We'll be there today Paula." Naturally

When I first walked in I had no idea, straight away I was greeted, friendly, warm and extremely helpful. I went back as I needed some other stuff, all this gardening is new to me, yet again more helpful. Keep up the great work. Definitely worth a visit.

If you advertise opening at 7:30, open at 7.30. I can literally hear people walking around inside, and still not open over 10min after the listed time. UPDATE - after 15min of waiting I'm leaving.

Staff were extremely helpful with down to earth honesty and advice not just looking to upsell me or get me spending more than I needed to. I wasn't just sent to the timber and building supplies desk, Courtney took me down there as we discussed screen and shadecloth plus other items I was hunting for and introduced me to Mark who then assisted me, gave me good knowledgeable advice to be able to achieve a better result/timber lifespan...areas I'm a bit of an amateur in! Which was followed by the same from the lady in the nursery area. Being new to the region from tropical QLD, she was great in recommending varietals much better suited to the local climate and followed it up with planting preparation, soil improvement tips that have my climber selections taking off brilliantly! Thanks guys, guaranteed I'll be going there from now on...

BAD EXPERIENCE !!! Took 3 staff to enable me to buy 2 lengths of corner quad. The first guy looked at me and chose to ignore me. I then went and physically found a second person ~a young girl who could help me? ~ she advised that yes she could and when we got to the timber section told me I had to wait for the first guy because she couldn't use the drop saw. I had to physically search out a 3rd person who could use the drop saw. Worst shop ... every time I go there I wished that I had not.

That Brodie out the back he's a champion!!Came there to get some cutting gas. He lugged them bottles around like Schwarzenegger. Very efficient service.
