Dogdayz Dog Boarding - Toolern Vale

Picked up my baby today after 4 days. I am happy with the service. They did change the pickup day for us at the last minute. Easy to book online. Staff is really friendly. They did let us give my puppy's own food during the stay. The price is good. Will definitely book them again in future.

We sent our 9 month old GSD pup here; he came home so happy and enriched.I emailed them for an update and they were happy to send me photos of my dog ASAP. I do wish that they update their Facebook page with photos from Toolern vale daily though; i think that would help anxious doggy parents like me to see how my pup is doing, especially if we are away overseas.Check in process was straightforward- I checked in my dog in the afternoon, the staff at the front desk appeared to be tired and seemed to not want to engage with me but this is understandable given that they have just played with all the guest dogs all day, keeping the dogs happy is a priority.Overall, good experience and will send our dog again once we go away.I've also used their doggy day care- we loved it because of the big running area for the dogs; I only wish for them to have longer hours so on days that I have to finish late, I don't have to always rush.

I left my dog here for 4 days, when she came back she had ptsd, it took her a couple days to return to her normal self.Have had her at other boarding houses and she was fine.I felt like somthing was wrong when the lady brought her around from the back, and looked frustrated, and was pulling my dog by the lead quite hard.Defiantly had bad vibes from this place, I can't prove anything, but I'm fairly certain she was abused here.That's probably why you can't see your dogs on camera here.I won't be returning.

Really disappointed with the level of care shown at this site.It’s really hard when you have to leave a family member there and the expectation is they would return in the same way.Unfortunately they’re a problem and our dog had she was injured.Being reminded that “we are not liable” was really disappointing.Will never be putting her in a kennel again

My Dog has stayed here Twice now and both times I've gotten him back he looked soo happy! The staff are super friendly and happy to answer all questions when you call up regarding the dogs. Would definitely recommend

This place was recommended by someone who obviously had a difference experience.I took my beloved pup for a trial day (asked about a half day introductory stay; not allowed, even though I paid full price). Despite emphasising that this was his first day, that he was a submissive, gentle breed and prone to being bullied, the staff did not give him time to adjust.Despite requesting specifically that he not be put in with a large group, that is exactly what the staff did.Consequently, he was not monitored, there was an 'incident' and he was badly bitten. And then I was not told at pickup.No concerns

Have just started sending my dog Obi here. We just got him back from a week long stay while we were away on holidays. He's come back happy as and seems like he has enjoyed his stay. The staff there are awesome and looked after him really well, even considering he is a very picky eater. big thanks to the team and he'll be back for sure :)

We had our pup stay for two months and were worried as it was the longest she'd been away from us.As soon as we dropped her off we heard several staff call her name in excitement, which brought us so much comfort.The staff went above and beyond for her throughout her entire stay.They provided thorough updates whenever we requested them, uploaded photos every week, noticed when she didn't seem herself and alerted us immediately, took her to the vet for an ear infection and treated her accordingly, gave her the C5 update after consulting us, assessed how she interacted with different temperaments and paired her with dogs she felt comfortable with, and then gave her a good wash prior to pick up.We are so impressed with the staff and their devotion to keeping our pup safe and content. She will definitely be coming back.

Our boy gets excited when he arrives at Dogdayz. He’s always exhausted when he leaves (which is not an easy feat). The staff are always friendly, and have been able to show us pictures of our dog on their phone without having him present. They really seem to know and care about all the dogs they have. Sometimes he has also been clearly washed prior to pickup (probably because our boy likes playing in mud).I would highly recommend dogdayz.
