I have been training nearly 6 years at Groundworks and wouldn't go anywhere else.Craig is a great coach and there are multiple black belts and other high level guys to learn from... No big egos in this gym.Great family friendly environment.Cheap prices too!!!

Coming from another gym 'locally', I have found Groundworks to be the best gym by far in the Illawarra area, with highest quality of training. Multiple blackbelts, browns, purples, blues and whitebelts to train with who are extremely friendly and take the time to help you out if you struggle with anything. Would HIGHLY recommend Groundworks to anyone.

This a family friendly and welcoming gym. It is run by an experienced Black Belt coach who caters to both adults and kids classes. My kids have gained confidence and discipline while I have found it a great place to learn BJJ.

Great gym for kids to train. Parents are able to stay and watch the kids train each session which I love. Trainers are really good with the kids, making the class fun each week while also teaching Brazillian jui jitsu. I reccomend this gym to any parent who wants their kids to train martial arts while also having fun.

Will-Machado affiliated gym with high level black belt instructor. This gym is suitable to all ages from child to adult, all levels of experience, male and female. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. This gym has multiple black, brown, purple, blue and white belts!! With no ego's at this gym it is the perfect environment to learn for all levels !!Could not recommend it more ! Everyone in the gym is approachable and welcoming.

Groundworks is a great gym, with high level instruction and a relaxed, friendly and supportive culture. Senior belts are always happy to train with and help junior belts, and everyone is welcome to share their ideas and questions. Highly recommended.

I personally believe this is the best BJJ gym in the Illawarra. Really great BJJ black belt instructors who as well as giving top level coaching and mentoring, will live roll with all the students from white belt through to black belt. It is also not uncommon to have several black and brown belts on the mats on any random night. In addition the gym has a really good vibe and all the guys and girls who train are ego free and easy going. Lastly the gym has no lock in contracts or shonky payment plans, just quality jiu-jitsu.

Awesome gym to train in with great people. Very friendly and welcoming vibe, run by black belt accredited trainer. Caters from kids to the new starter to more experienced people. I love training at groundworks! :)
