Burwood needs a concourse at the Eastern end. Funneling all the passengers down narrow stairs at the Western end to congregate on crowded street corners on Burwood Rd is ridiculous. They used to have entrances at the Eastern end but filled them in. Now we have 5 times as many people. 16th busiest station in Sydney.

Was clean enough and the gates worked. This train station was easy to navigate through. There is a counter to purchase fare cards and it's open daily. We preferred this over purchasing the tickets at a kiosk machine. The customer service staff is very friendly and helpful and there are ample free maps to select from which has train information. There are plenty of shops around here and good location near bus stops that take you almost to most parts of the west, inner west and airport.Seemed safe every time I have got off or got on there. There are a couple of parks nearby you can walk to.A small shopping centre nearby that has a Big W and Across the road from that shopping centre is a WoolworthsPlenty of parking available but on street parking can be a nightmare.Other then that serves its purpose as a train station. Some details from the Transport New South Wales site.FacilitiesKiss and ride stopping areaTaxi rankBike racksToiletsWheelchair accessible toilet (MLAK)Baby change tableEmergency help pointPayphoneDeparture indicator screenOpal card top up or single trip ticket machine (Card Payment only)Opal card top up machine (Card Payment only)Train station staffed hoursStaff are on duty at this station during these hours:Weekdays24 hoursWeekends/public holidays24 hours AccessibilityThis location is Independent AccessWheelchair ramp boarding assistanceHearing loop PA system for announcementsPlatform edge tactilesStairsLift

An important suburban station served by Sydney trains on the T2 , T9 routes. The station has 6 platforms. The station is located about 11 kilometres from Sydney Central.
