Was a great experience.Best for a family picnic. The place does not have a Vodafone network so big no-no to Vodafone there.And be careful with kids as there are big lizards all around the bbq areas.Also, need to be careful while going towards bridge as kids need more attention around the walkway (don't have a fall protection) and has lots of crabs around riverbanks.Enjoy!!!

Expansive & large public picnic area surrounded by waterways and beautiful nature walks, Sphinx to Bobbin Head walk highly recommended.

This place was so amazing. The lake or river whatever it is simply amazing. This place is looks like a scene from movie. The mountains, river, greens and sky makes a perfect symphony to make you astonished at your very first glance. A good number of small and medium sized boat were parked there. A lot of people were doing fishing. You you want to do fishing and enjoy a real calm natural beauty at the same time this place is ideal for you.Most of the people there were with family enjoying the day. There were enough space for BBQ under a shed. But we chosed to set up our own tents and spend the time under the beautiful sky. We have played cricket and football/soccer.There is plenty of parking available and a small playground for kids available as well. So kids and infants will enjoy there time there very much.It is really a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy. You can definitely give this place a visit. Wish you to have a great time here.Cheers

Amazing place for a barbecue, Date, family playground and weekend hideout! So many hiking trains to choose from with a wide range of levels to challenge. Small nature valley only 15 to 30 minute car ride away for most people.

Number one spot to see a Goanna or four. Keep your eyes on your food, these guys have obviously been fed over the years by visitors.

Went there on a lunch date with a lady friend. Couldn't of had a better day . Weather was great atmosphere was perfect. It was nice see family enjoying the water with their children. Enjoyed my meal perfect size and tasted great. So out of 10 I would give it a ten

A long time family favourite for picnics and outings. Gets busy on weekends and holidays so the earlier you arrive the more likely you are to get a spot, however some of the larger shelters can be booked online. Meals available at the Bobbin Inn are tasty and reasonably priced. For a quieter experience try Apple Tree Bay, a couple of minutes drive.

A wonderfully relaxing place, love coming here, amenities, playground, barbecues, bush walks, canoeing, cafes, fishing.
