Chapman Valley Horse Riding

My sister and I went camping and horse riding here for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The campsite was very picturesque and peaceful. The horses were absolutely gorgeous and the trail ride was the best I'd ever been on. I've been to a few trail riding places around NSW and this one definitely stood out for the care they show their horses and their professional commitment to their riders. We will definitely be coming back for a ride and more camping! :D

I love everything about this place. I adore everyone on the farm, the horses, the location, I love that the landscape is always changing depending on the season I come. Have done a few cattle musters and can't rate them more highly. Run professionally, safely and all done with friendliness. I want to go back!

Great campsite close to Sydney. Came here for Easter and there was even an organised Easter egg hunt. Toilet and shower facilities available. Great night sky although photos attached are taken with astrology mode.

LOVED my second 3 day cattle muster. Gorgeous staff and happy horses. And as always, the food is excellent!

Looking for an outdoor escape to kick start our holidays my Mum and I went looking for an outdoor riding adventure and found Chapman Valley Horse Riding; as keen horse riders who have been riding for more than 20 years we were utterly impressed with how wonderfully well cared for the horses were, how welcoming the staff were to everyone, the commitment to safety, the excellent temperaments of the horses, and the stunning scenery!We stayed for two nights in the communal camping area close to the amenities block. Everything was very well maintained and cared for with a self check in service to adhere to social distancing requirements and fully stocked for convenience.We booked two rides during our stay; a half day (4hrs), and a 2hr ride on our second morning.Both rides were outstanding! The riding groups are small with very friendly and knowledgeable guides who take great care in matching you with the best horse to suit your riding skills and take your personal preferences into account wherever possible - there were constant smiles all around!To the Chapman Valley team; Connor, Jess, Hannah, Kat and Flicka, thank you all so much for all of your efforts in making it such a wonderful weekend, and especially for your patience with all of our questions!We will most definitely be back!

Can’t recommend Chapman Valley enough. First time in the saddle for over 2 years. Every single staff member made me feel so welcome & safe - even choosing a horse they knew would respond well to me. This made me feel so special & far more confident getting back in the saddle! The 2 hour ride was incredible, and the guides were so knowledgeable. They tailored the ride to suit everyone’s ability. Can’t wait to go back soon!

The best horse riding experience!All the staff were absolutely lovely and very professional at every turn. Our guide Joce was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to teach my partner (1st time rider) the basics, including how to trot. I think you might have made a cowboy out of him! The ride was well and truly catered to us with Joce making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout, while sharing with us some awesome facts and stories about the horses and property. Both my partner and I learnt so much and loved every second of it.Thank you everyone at Chapman Valley! We cannot wait to come back!

Another amazing three days mustering cattle at Chapman Valley! You won’t find friendlier hosts, more reliable horses and more beautiful scenery anywhere within a reasonable driving distance from Sydney. Oh, did I mention the delicious food? Can’t recommend enough!

One of the most amazing experiences I have had - by far!It started by being warmly welcomed upon arrival by the amazing staff.Which followed by a lovely world class picnic with the freedom of choosing any location on the gigantic property to do so.Then after a quick yet fun safety meeting, started to prepare our ride. My initial expectation was that we would do a walk around the arena or area around the house for a little. However, what we experienced was a tour of the property which included amazing hills with views which gave a sensation of being connected to the nature around you. We followed the trail through the various creek beds and surroundings, embracing the different flora and fauna. The peaceful and almost spiritual ride is something I strongly recommend but it has to be at Chapman Valley - absolutely the best, thank you for having us and see you soon!!!
