1Cover Travel Insurance

This is the second time I’ve used 1cover for our cruises. I have found the cover comparable and so far thank goodness I haven’t had to make a claim. I will continue to use them for my cruises. If how easy it is to navigate their website, I’m almost positive that if I ever did have to make a claim it would also be that easy too. Will keep you updated.

We didn't have to use our insurance as we had no incidents but 1cover did send a message asking us if we needed an extension which I thought was good

Can’t fault 1Cover. Easy to buy the policy online, which included disclosure and an increased amount.My trip was incident free, so I can’t comment on making a claim this time.However on a previous trip I did have a major issue and 1Cover were absolutely fantastic at every stage.

I would recommend for travel insurance as they did pay out our trip. We got sick in Bali and had to cancel flights and stay an extra night, with a hospital visit too.However.. some feedback I would love the website design staff to cofnsider - the website could really use some updating. You can only upload 1 document at a time, e.g it asks you for flight details, including flight terms and conditions, but this is multiple documents/pictures. If it's all in one PDF then that's fine but some things aren't. Same with medical bills, there were multiple documents for me and only one space to upload. We had multiple screen shots so one upload wasn't enough. Also the upload process kept freezing and not letting me complete the upload. I had to contact them and email the documents. Then a week after I emailed the documents, they emailed me saying I had incomplete documents and I needed to send them X, Y and Z, even though I had already done this.They were a little slow processing the claim, however I would still recommend them as their pricing is reasonable, their online chat person was helpful, and I they did pay out all of our claim.

Chelsea was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. All staff at 1Cover that we dealt with were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend them. They contacted us again when we arrived back in Australia to make sure everything was good.

I have been purchasing regular cruise travel insurance since July 2022. Happy overall with the product. I have been disappointed that there have been no multi-trip policies available. I have had 6 or 8 policies over the past year already.

Online application was straightforward and easy. Trip went without a hitch, so no need for a claim which is where you find out just how good your insurer really is!

Terrible service. You cannot speak to anybody if you need to claim. You can only speak to a robot. I asked them to call me and haven’t heard from anyone after three weeks. False advertising.After finally communicating with 1cover they have taken a very unfair and legalistic approach to denying my claim. My passport was accidentally damaged enroute causing my trip to be delayed. They won’t cover that but would have covered it if I had lost my passport!?Thanks for nothing 1cover.

I always insure with 1Cover, I have found them easy to deal with when claiming and feel very confident that they are there for you when needed.
