Norman Park station

Nice little station about 15 mins from the city. 8 trains/hour in peak and the car park is fairly large, although fills quickly in the mornings.

Needs more parking

If you love bats, birds and butterflies then this is the station for you!There's murals livening up the walkways and the walls making a grey space more inviting. This station has a lovely garden and all the facilities needed in a station, including ticket window, ticket machine, toilets, disabled access and a payphone.

Anthony the station master keeps a wonderful garden area and it has a Santa for Christmas. Great murals. A part of the local community.

It's genius

The nicest Station Manager in the local area! Friendly, polite and extremely helpful. He has personally planted all the flowers along the walkway front entrance area - taking cuttings from his home, and has thoughtfully decorated the Norman Park Station office, with photos to reflect it's history. Regular commuters also bring him plant cuttings from their homes, which he adds to the station's garden. This lovely man takes great pride in his role as Station Manager, he cares deeply about his customers, and the station environment they use on a daily basis - such an awesome guy! It's the small details which often make the biggest impact - if you get the opportunity - please say hello, and let him know you appreciate his station. A little bit of kindness will go along way - spread the love people!
