Absolutely appalling service. Had to pay the call out fee of $145 up front, and stay home for 3 hours in the middle of the day for a technician who didn't show up - TWICE. No call or text to say they would be delayed or not coming, until the last minute of the three hour time call, which came through when I was on the phone asking where the technician was. Terrible service, with no resolution offered other than to offer another 3 hours wait time for a technician who may or may not show up. No wonder Metropolitan only has 2 reviews and they are both 1 star.

I paid $145 for call out fees which was paid before he came and he called me to say he will be there in 10min and I went outside he was sitting in his van down the street and then came in the house and we told him the pipe leaking in the ceiling for split system and he looked at the ceiling from inside and told me the same thing back and told me to fix it was $4000 because he has to get another man to help him as they have to go in the ceiling. I said so you not going to have a look in the ceiling to see what you need he said no and gave appt and told me that I have to pay before they do the job . He was in my house just for 2min if that . He left and parked his van again at the same spot to make his 30min that I paid and my sons went and had a look and fix it for $16 with some basic metal epoxy and covered the pipe in its padding, and since no problems.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY or any of its associated companies (there are approx. 6 sponsored a/c companies listed in google with the same licence number and all are rip-offs). Called Metropolitan Air Conditioning after air conditioning not starting one evening. They ask for a $142 dollar booking fee on the phone - fair enough. They came and took a 5 minute look at the ducted system and stated that it needed to replaced. Or if we wanted, they could really look at what the problem is but they needed to do a $3000 service first. After saying no, they proceeded to do a quote for a new system - $30,000! What a rip-off.New system (same brand and model) installed by another company today for $12,000.

Seriously, if anyone would like to pay $1239 for clean and service your aircon this is the company 100% the right one for you. I can understand people charge a little bit more because of 24 hour service. I will leave this for everyone to judge. But in my opinion paying a call out fee and giving above market price for service and cleaning is really unethical.
