Our organization, Melbourne Zen Group, recently engaged Hamish to take photographs for a significant community event. We found Hamish to be an excellent communicator, someone who listens well to understand ‘the brief’. He was asked to photograph a ceremony planned to authorize and welcome a new Teacher to our group. This involved working discretely to capture important moments of the ceremony without impinging on the flow of the proceedings. Hamish achieved this beautifully. His skilled photographs creatively convey the flavour of the day, providing a valuable record for our group.We found Hamish to be very generous with his time and his attention to detail. All communication with him was easy and pleasant. We highly recommend Hamish as a skilled photographer to engage for any significant occasion.

Hamish was excellent. He took terrific people and product photos in our industrial setting. He paid great attention to the angles and background to optimise the photos which are crisp and sharp but with a brightness and warmth that we haven't seen before from other photographers. Hamish brought a number of lenses to suit different targets and submitted the photos well within 24 hours. He was fantastic to deal with - prompt, helpful and professional and we will definitely be using him again.

He's done work for organic farms, natural food brands, responsible travel destinations, and more. Every time we share his images, we get a great response. I particularly appreciate his experience working across many different cultures. You can tell that he makes people comfortable by the beautiful expressions and warmth in his images.

Hamish recently provide photographic support for one of our major events for the year and did a fantastic job. He was at all time courteous, mindful of the demographics of the group, the VIPs who attended and thought outside of the box in getting the best possible shots.
