Had a fabulous time visiting Turkey Flat. Had to organise a staff function/bus tour. They staff Kristie, Irene and Poppy were fabulous and such great fun. Really accommodating for larger groups. Looking forward to coming back.

Another great spot to try quality wines. Service is professional and courteous. The rose has to be one of Australia’s best year in year out. Great old vine Shiraz and Rhône blends.

Turkey Flat wines is such a beautiful place to chill out any time of the year! I use the stunning features outside for family photo sessions and also shot an exclusive small wedding here for a couple form the UK. My husband loves the dainty looking bottle of sweet sticky wine they call the Pedro, so I always make sure I grab him a bottle when I visit! if you haven't been to Turkey Flat yet, make sure you chuck it on your list for places to visit in the Baros Valley! Just sat here today to edit some photos from a family shoot this morning, fire is going and all. Thanks!

Turkey Flat Vineyards
The only family owned vineyard we visited in Barossa is Turkey Flat. My partner’s old housemate knows the owner. They are known for their big reds.It's a nice peaceful place. The wine tasting is free unlike other big cellar doors. The lady behind the counter is very knowledgable about wines and history of the family. Great place to visit if you are into red wines and like to have a friendly chat with the staff.

Wonderful friendly staff at the cellar door with a terrific variety of interesting wines to try. The Shiraz is one of the top wines in Australia and very little known !! A true bargain at $50 a bottle it’s my favourite wine. Definitely worth a visit as they also have some of the oldest vines in the world !
