Gardiner Park is an oasis in the busy concrete jungle of Malvern and adjacent suburbia of Melbourne..it caters for both popular football codes on a pristine synthetic turf..adjacent to Gardiner station it is both convenient and free for the serious needs we have for recreation..walk the dog or watch other community activities..we had our church picnic there .

Cracking synthetic oval across that will be great asset for the community. Awesome to go down for a quick kick of the footy without the mud, kick of the soccer ball or just a run around. These grounds do get a bit warm in summer, but what a beauty during autumn through to spring. I think I have kicked the best goal already on it too! Shame I can't put a video of it up!

A synthetic oval?!?! Hell yes!!I didn’t think I’d like it, but I love it! No mud! Brilliant. Seriously, it’s brilliant.This renovated and rejuvenated footy oval is impressive, nested between the freeway and the train line (literally opposite the station) with a pleasant back drop of trees threaded around the boundary.And the adjacent playground is far from mediocre. Plenty of options here to entertain a young family. Get outdoors and check this place out.

I enjoy walking around this oval. It’s always clean and the fake grass means it’s always in good condition too. Mostly it’s fairly quiet but it can get quiet busy at times with multiple kid’s sports practices happening at the same time.

Beautiful grounds, nice shady playground next to it for the younger kids.Went for a soccer festival and the venue is perfect for sports events with audiences

Well equipped small park. Very good for small groups with young children to use the free electric barbecue and the neighbouring playground. Two excellent picnic tables and benches under cover. Next to high quality synthetic grass sports oval set up for AFL and soccer with well-equipped changing facilities and sports pavilion with public toilets.

Pretty interesting park - you got your a class kids play ground, you have lots of unique seating, an exercise station and of course the footy fields too.Now this space is free from bullies I've been told but you must experience this for yourself to make that judgement as sometimes bullies might spill in from other spaces infected with bullies.
