I am really glad I came here instead of a cruise. I dont know much about botanical names, I soon learnt, from my knowledgable guide Bori but was more on a mission to see what is available for people with a disability or in a wheelchair. It didnt disappoint, the nature museum & the 5 acre jurassic garden showcasing 400 plant species across the southern continents, as well as its well designed paths, is easily accessible for everyone

We love our time spent at Inala Cottage. The private reserve is well-taken care of. We got to meet Lady Poss and many birds. We also saw the milky way on a clear night. The cottage is very cosy. This is highly recommended if you are a nature lover and want to spend some nights on Bruny Island.

A must do for bird enthusiasts visiting Bruny Island. With a dedicated 40 spotted pardalote viewing platform, you can see these elusive little birds on their level and plenty of other beautiful birds as well. The guides are knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining.

If you are a bird watcher, Inala is the place to go. A 3 hour tour of the property is well worth it. 1500 acres preserved for the Forty Spotted Pardalote and the Swift Parrot. We stayed in the Inala Cottage for 5 nights and toured the island and enjoyed the birds everyday. Highly recommend. The Jurassic Gardens are breath taking.

We did the Inala property tour with Cat, enjoyed and benefited from her commentary very much and saw some exquisite birds.

My partner and I booked an inala nature and weren't too sure what to expect. We were blown away by the tour, our personal guide Kat was amazingly knowledgeable and very good at spotting all the different wildlife types around! We had a wonderful time talking about nature and seeing wonderful endemic and endangered species in their natural habitat. The Jurassic garden is equally as amazing and so is the museum. If you are looking for the hidden gem on Bruny this is it! We could not recommend it more highly for locals and tourists! The only regret my partner and I have is not staying on the property so we could spend more time there!I feel this is going to be a regular visiting spot of ours now.Thank you Inala we look forward to coming back in the near future.

Beautiful bush setting and very accommodating host. Raptor hide is a great facility and well thought out. Cabin had all comforts required and a complimentary jug of milk to get a coffee underway on check in. Great bathroom with a spa and full cooking facilities.

Fantastic tour of property. Great to see so many indigenous Tasmanian birds all in such a small area. Cat our tour leader was so informative and friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with Cat touring the property! She is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the birds/wildlife, plants and conservation efforts they are going through. While I didn't stay on the property, it's high on my list if I come back to Bruny. Highly recommend a visit here to learn all there is and support their efforts.

A nature preserve offering accommodation and guided tours, the reserve is popular with visiting birders keen to see the endangered endemic 40 spotted pardalote. However, we found our private tour offered so much more than 'seeing' rare and endemic bird species - we learned about the many ecological niches on the island and our guide Cat explained bird and animal behavior in a way that made the Tasmanian environment come to life. Don't miss out!
