I initially contacted Design Edge Associates prior to purchasing an existing residential property in Mount Waverley with the vision of undertaking a new dual occupancy development.Mario was able to assess the development potential while outlining the challenges we would face, taking into consideration the existing street and site vegetation, established adjoining properties and how Monash Council would consider my proposal. With his assessment I was able to purchase the property with greater clarity and a better understanding on what would be an achievable and profitable investment. Due to his honest and clear cut advice I again reached out to Mario when I was ready to start the town planning design. He was able to recommend professional consultants throughout the process in order to ensure we had the supporting documentation at all stages. With Mario’s exceptional design skills, he was able to translate my design brief and maximise the properties potential with a high functioning and free flowing floor plan with everything you would want. The external façade has exceptional street appeal and will ensure that this project will be a great addition to the ever evolving streetscape, come completion. The project really came to life through the use of 3D modelling, giving us all a greater understanding of what was being proposed and helped to strengthen our application.As Mario had originally predicted, we did face certain challenges with obtaining development approval, and unfortunately we ended up going to VCAT. Although none of us wanted to go down that path it was ultimately my ambitious vision of a large luxury duplex development that led us to where we ended up. This is also where Mario’s forward thinking and innovative design was able to accommodate changes to enable us to revise our application and ultimately be granted a permit while retaining the core layout.I highly recommend Mario and his team for your next project, and I look forward to working with them again in the near future.Thanks Design Edge Associates!

I was introduced to Mario by a friend, who had done multiple projects with Mario before. I had such a lovely experience of creating plans of dual occupancy units with Mario and team. Mario and team are very passionate about what they do. Mario listened to our requirements, and provided excellent professional guidance in very easy to understand manner. I was very anxious at first since it was my first sub-division project, but Mario walked us through every step in detail. I received a detailed plan of deliverables, and payments, and as promised, Mario delivered as per his plan. Mario provided great guidance on how to approach every problem statements methodically. The sub-division plans were exactly what we were after, and were the best designed for delivering returns on our investment.Mario is very approachable and friendly. Well deserved 5 stars! Mario and Rebecca helped us with designing our house. They both were extremely patient and helpful with tailoring the design to suit our needs. We just finished the construction of the house and I must say, I can't possibly be any happier. Mario has thought about everything.Other than his keen eye for details, Mario has a great grasp of the Construction Process. He made sure to consider constructability as well as aesthetic aspect of the design at every step of the way.
