Works cannot describe the incredible work that the team did. I took my European winter coat to the Fitting Room to be altered (slimmed down, brought in and modified). The team were patient when I was not sure exactly what I wanted done and gave very helpful suggestions to help me (a young male) make the correct fashion choice. The professionalism, attention to detail and precision resulted in a coat that was skimmed down to my size, fits well and ultimately is a fashion piece I love (which I didn’t beforehand). Madeline, Clare, Sheena and the team have a reputation in Brisbane for providing the very best alterations and my experience is just one of thousands of incredible stories. Thank you and well done. (I should also note this was the second alteration after another place in Brisbane did a poor job, so in hindsight I am disappointed I didn’t go straight to the Fitting Room initially)!

Sheena was an absolute joy to work with! I entrusted her with the task of altering my wedding reception dress, which required some adjustments for my first dance. Unfortunately, the dress was initially too snug around the rib cage area and too long in length. Thankfully, Sheena displayed exceptional skill in her craft by skillfully adding fabric to create a comfortable fit around the rib cage, allowing me to effortlessly zip it up. Additionally, she flawlessly hemmed the skirt, ensuring I wouldn't stumble or trip during the dance. It took three appointments, but now the dress fits impeccably. Given the complexity of the dress, the cost was undoubtedly justified. I am beyond excited to wear it on my wedding day. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sheena for her remarkable work. I needed a much treasured trench coat shortened along with some other changes and spent ages trying to decide the best place to hand it to for alterations. The Fitting Room was the perfect choice as the lovely team was able to book me in at the drop of a hat and were exceptional at providing me an idea on what the finished product would look like. I had my wedding dress altered at The Fitting Room and could not recommend their service enough! Sheena was so helpful, patient, and understanding, and did an amazing job at fitting me. The dress alteration itself was professional and exactly what I wanted, the dress looked beautiful and fit me perfectly. I went to The Fitting Room for some minor alterations to my wedding dress and we changed the buttons on my partner's shirt. Sheena was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole consultation process and made me feel super comfortable. The alterations were super fast and only took a few weeks. Sheena made me another appointment at the time of pickup so that i could try my dress on and make sure i was happy with everything that was done. Overall a great experience. The team of sewers are also very skilled in bringing it all together with their beautiful and professional work. Madeline for helped me make adjustments to a dress and her work and service was outstanding. She was flexible, creative, prompt, tentatively experimental, honest and open-mind - the work turned out better than I anticipated. That isn't really even my favourite part - simply, Madeline was kind and lovely, this is what made the experience wonderful.
