Sperm Whale Memorial
We didn’t realise that these whales were washed to shore just 8 years ago- 2014!I thought it was cool that a rock was placed exactly where each whale was found. Measuring 10-11 metres each. Not far from the main highway, worth pulling off and checking out this memorial.

Quick place to stop off for a break. Heaps of mosquitoes and bugs in the area during early Spring though. Might have been more interesting if the rocks were in the shape of the whales that passed.

Sperm Whale Memorial
A poignant reminder of the fragility of nature. That in conjunction with the caring of the human race, is comforting. A place to now come and reflect and also wonder why?
