Elim Property Inspections

We had a difficult situation while renting the property the real estate was trying to charge us for damage to the floorboards that had buckled and delaminated. I believed the extensive, jaggered wall tears were affecting the foundations and causing the floorboards to behave unexpectedly. Astrid was so helpful and organised Rick to inspect the next day and he thoughroly investigated all aspects of the property including it's history which was very powerful and accurate evidence. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. When I originally called to enquire about a building and pest inspection, before pricing was even discussed, Astrid spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with myself explaining in great detail a lot of things that I would never have even thought of. She was very understanding of my limited knowledge and was able to talk me through the process, what to expect and managed to provide detailed information regarding the property without any photos for assistance. Rick and Astrid were able to get the property very quickly, which is great when you have a time limit in your contract, and a very thorough and comprehensive inspection was completed. The report submitted was extremely detailed and provided photos and text for each area that was looked at. Rick was also kind enough to speak with my partner on the day of the inspection about his proposed renovation ideas and was able to make recommendations on how to achieve this and whether or not it would be viable to do. Rick has been fantastic to deal with. I called him on Thursday, he completed the inspection on Saturday and I had the 16 page report, including pictures, on Monday. He has also been able to answer further questions I had after the report was done. The price is also really competitive compared to others in Ballarat. If you need a Building and Pest inspection done, Rick is your man!!
