Mount Pleasant & District Golf Club

Great community managed club that deserves a visit, conventional golf along with foot golf for a fun family way to walk 9 or 18 holes.

UPDATE: 12/5/23 course was in excellent condition. Fairways had an excellent coverage of grass. Greens were very good to putt on. Volunteers do a fantastic job. i’ve attached a photo of a unique bridge!!!!!! A lovely peaceful and undulating setting with great views and lots of kangaroos and birdlife. A most enjoyable day out.UPDATE: 2/9/22 very cold day…… The temperature did not get above 8°. The course is coming out of a very wet winter and is beginning to dry out. Condition of the greens were good. The fairways had a good coverage of grass and had been recently mown. We look forward to going back when the weather finally warms up……. It’s been a very cold wet winter.UPDATE: 16/1/22A very hot and dry day. Greens have continued to improve since our last visit…..no bare patches. Fairways had a good coverage of couch grass. We had excellent roll. The two new holes are fully established. This course is maintained by volunteers only. We found out from Beth at the end of the game that she and her husband Paul are currently the only volunteers maintaining the whole 18 holes……. The only other volunteer (Club president) is on holidays……. an amazing job. You should feel very proud. As mentioned in my previous reviews……The course has a great layout. We had a great day out and look forward to our next round of golf.As an aside, there were about 30 people playing Footgolf after someone promoted this on tick-tock……. Thanks to that special someone who has thousands of followers. Beth said the club really appreciated the promotion from this unknown person.UPDATE: 17/9/21We were reminded of how peaceful and beautiful the location of the golf course is located in. The views from the clubhouse are magnificent. The course was in good condition given that we are coming off a very, very wet winter and that it is maintained by volunteers. The “new” holes are challenging! Please read my previous review.The 18 hole course already has a great layout and with a couple of holes being redesigned including new greens will make it even more challenging. We really enjoyed our golf experience on the day. Beth and Paul were very welcoming - both doing their volunteer work. There is also 18 greens for footgolf. We look forward to coming back for another round at Mount Pleasant.

Played while visiting from the UK. Absolutely stunning course with a fantastic layout and in great condition.

No one answers the phone tried for 2 days green are in terrible condition. got harrased last time I was there by the older man and his wife after 530 trying to get money out of me. Highly recommended you save your money and go elsewhere no worth it at all

We played foot golf and had a fantastic day. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Never answer the phone, no one attending office during business hour. Don’t waste your time!!!
