The Original Engine Bay

Had a ticking noise coming from motor after engine bay inspected they said timing kit needing doing $2,300.Received phone call saying car fixed ready for pick-up.When driving home the car sounded like it had a turbo kit on it (this car is a Tarago)Upon getting home and looking under car to see oil coming from the timing cover..Returned vehicle to be re repaired.Collected vehicle again the next day and again when getting home oil was leaking from the timing cover again and the ticking from motor was till existing.Took car to another mechanic who replaced the gasket because other one was off set and than explained the ticking was coming from the throttle body..so in total I spent 2,700 on basically nothing. Oh and to top that engine bay replaced top engine mount which was cracked on pickup great job guys. NOT

The Engine Bay have been servicing my company & private vehicles for 20 + years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder which has had a squeaky noise when reversing for about 2 years. I have taken the vehicle to 3 dirrerent repaires and none of them could find the fault. Over the last 3 months when driving over 60Km the whole vehicle would vibrate aggressively. I took the vehicle to 2 different repaires who couldn't find the fault. At the recommendation of the last repairer I replaced all the tyres, had them balanced and aligned with no improvement. I took the vehicle to 'The Original Engine Bay' and within half hour they identified the fault which was causing the vibration and the squeaking. They were very friendly, professional and accommodating and repaired the vehicle in one day and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend 'The Original Engine Bay' and will use these guys as my ongoing repairer. I think what impressed me the most was that out of the 5 different repaires they were the only ones to resolve the issue. This shows knowledge, skill and good old fashion service. Thanks team.
